_Could_ he stop sleeping with Akane?
1)  If this is pre-Akari then Ryoga would be giving up his second greatest
joy in life (the first is beating Ranma).  Think about it, Akane's the
only one who's shown the guy affection in a long time, even if it is just
as a pig.  It's kinda hard to give that up.  

If it comes down to a choice between giving up being Akane's pet and her
hating him, I'd bet he'd decide to go with choice A.

2)  Ryoga is almost as water prone as Ranma.  What makes you think that he
could _avoid_ sleeping with Akane as P-chan.  All it takes is a little bit
of water at the wrong time and...  "Oh P-chan where in the world have you
been?"

I don't think I explained things very well.  The idea is that Ryouga claims
that P-Chan was his pet (that's also why it hated Ranma and why it had such
a terrible sense of direction).  During his last trip, they met each other
in Jusenkyou.  P-Chan drowned in a new spring that was not yet cursed.
That cursed the spring.  Ryouga saw him and dove in, hoping he wasn't too
late.  Poof.  Instant cursed Ryouga.  Now, Ryouga returns and is really
depressed.  The next time that Akane mentions P-Chan ("I wonder when P-Chan
is coming back?") Ryouga says that he can't come back; he's dead.  Then, he
tells her about how P-Chan drowned and how Ryouga is now cursed.  That
story covers his curse quite nicely from now on.  So now, Akane knows that
any time she sees a P-Chan wandering around, she will know that this one is
Ryouga.

So, I ask again... anyone wanna take a shot at this?
