I just posted chapter 3 of Mirror Images to this ML which is about 20
pages long, took a month to write, and *no one* has *any* C&C on it? 

Gee, I dunno.  20 pages, and you expected a response the next day?

<ponder>  Well, when I like a fanfic (like TMTC/TPOH, for example), I was
able to read the whole series in about three days, so...

...but I guess everyone isn't as fanatical nor has as much free time as me.

If I'm not going to get C&C on my fic, what's the point of posting it to
the FFML?  Guess maybe it makes sense just to post it to my website and
RAAC...

It takes time to read, it takes time to C&C.

Further, why are you writing fics?  You just want the adulation of your
fans, right?

Actually, no, I enjoy writing.  A lot.  Why else would I have 10+ fics
going at once?  And I think this comment and your following one were
uncalled for.

I read your fic, and I liked it.  But if you just wanna take your toys and
go home, then do it, and don't whine to us about it.

Okay, to everyone (you, too, WW):

My post was made rashly, and I often forget that not everyone has as much
time on their hands as I do, and I apologize for anything that could have
been interpreted as an insult in it.  I guess I was just a little
frustrated at not getting any C&C on it (I spent quite a lot of time
writing it), but now I understand that I just need to give it more time.

Hopefully, I have not offended anyone.
