Then Elseworlods 5 came out.

It's not that it was a bad story, it was just that it was incredibly dark
(at least the draft I last saw) and didn't seem to fit with the theme of
the other stories.

The Kunou Elseworlds is going to be rather dark as well.

Assuming David ever finishes it :P

Elseworlds 6 however, has completely turned me off this series. It IS
well written. Hell, I laughed my ass off when I read it. The problem
with it is that it doesn't even REMOTELY fit in with the theme of the
series. Bringing in all that WoD stuff would have been OK, if you didn't
constantly break the 4th wall. Frankl;y, as fun as it was, I would drop
it from the series, make it a seperate story, and come up with something
different for Ch 6.

I tried writing this as a serious story, but it didn't work out. Too much
of the WoD was crying out to be made fun of :)

I wanted this series from the start to be able to incorporate a variety of
moods and styles, which is one reason I've taken contributions from other
authors. So I won't be retracting this from the Elseworlds series, but
thanks for making some honest criticism.

looks like some leftovers evolved into a new life form."
