I disagree with that general statement. I have never written a story that
had new character from the Moon Kingodom appear in the time frame where
Sailor Moon was set. I did write a Sailor Moon fic for the Sailor Moon
Expanded project but that took place completely in the Moon Kingdom Era.

Well, I'm guilty of adding characters from the Moon Kingdom, but there's a
good reason - I wanted to flesh out Sailor Pluto's character.  For
Shieldsman, she has a background, a love life, a family...not to mention
that Crimson happens to be Sailor Mars' one true love.

Oh come on. What about one of the most underutilised (in fanfics) Sailor
Moon cultures, the Nemesis (Black Moon) clan? What about drawing characters

>from other mythology/nationality legend backgrounds? What about making up

something that has nothing to do with the Moon Kingdom?

Actually, I'm going to do this in the second Act of Shieldsman.  I'm
wavering between using Norse gods and using a bunch of dragons.

As for the bit someone mentioned on the people of earth not welcoming
Serenity with open arms...well, in my future they DON'T accept her.  They
accept Endymion.  But then, I've fleshed out his link with the Earth to
give him a few powers in CT.  In either case, they are for the most part
figureheads.  They hav the titles, but they don't actually have any
control over individual conties.  Kind of a "be there when we need you,
but other than that stay out of our business" thing.  Of course, certain
countries STILL don't aprove..

But, y'all will see this when I release my timeline/prologue to Act 2.
