Wow.  I am loving this story.  In particular, the following points have 
me hooked:

1)  Jupiter's infatuation.  I always had the strongest empathy for her 
in the original series, and you've managed to make her the most 
sympathetic character here, too, despite her unquestionably evil 
actions.  The refocusing of ``He looks like my old boyfriend.'' is a 
nice touch, too.

2)  Mercury's journal.  I'm a sucker for a cheesy mystery, and this one 
is perfect.  My current suspicion is that normal Ami's proficiency in 
science is channelled into the occult in this fic.  That would account 
for both the ignore-the-outside-world attitude and her claims that the 
work is untranslatable into modern language.  If that's the case, I 
expect the spells to be Lovecraftian in nature.

3)  Jedite.  Part of me is wondering if he and the rest of Beryl's crew 
are also evil in this one, or if they are actually good.  His 
willingness to drain a man to keep him from feeding the Senshi indicates 
a certain...ambivalence.  After all, he could have just snapped the 
man's neck, causing a lot less suffering.

All in all, an engrossing work.  Keep it up!
