What if Nodoka killed Genma?

I do not remember a story that has used this idea. If somebody has,
please tell me.

        Paint It Black, at the end--although it was an accident. Also,
there was one other that was on the ML recently; I can't recall the name,
but it starts with Ranma running through the rain, terrified out of his
mind, until he meets Ukyo and tells her what heppened. Or was it Shampoo?
Damn, I'm gonna go look for it. . .

When Genma told Nodoka that he was leaving and taking Ranma, Nodoka beat
him over the head. She used a shoe, a bucket and a table. What if she
hit him too hard and he died?

What would she do?
a) Would she wait for the police and go to jail.
b) Would she grab Ranma and run.

        A dyed-in-the-wool honor freak like her would wait for the cops,
and take her punishment like a man ;-).

There are, no doubt, other things she could do, but these came to mind
first.

a) Ranma would be rasied by who? The Tendo's adopt him? Or perhaps some
other family. (This could be a way to introduce Ranma in a crossover
type story. Ranma was raised as a adopted son by ???)

        Mihoshi. JUST KIDDING, JUST KIDDING!! But perhaps Washuu would see
in him the son she never had. Hmmmm. . .

b) Living on the run. Would Nodoka be forced to do all the things Genma
did? To survive Nodoka could have grabbed Genma's notes and could teach
Ranma martial arts. The trip to China could occur.

        Now, this is an interesting prospect--forcing her to walk a mile
(or 100) in Genma's shoes could force her to reasses her jugdement of her
late husband. This has the potential to get REAL poignant, if done
properly.
