So are there any really good depressing fics where NOBODY dies?

I completely disagree.  Fics where people die and stuff like that
are darkfics or shockfics and sometimes depressing fics.  One of
the problems is that there are two catagories depressing and dark
fics and in both The Bitter End is winning for both *sob*.
However a story can just be sad and not have anyone die.  In
fact! *plug warning* I feel my story can be considered sad but
not dark cuz no one dies.

Sad is the key.  Take .. umm Chasing Amy, no one dies...
depressed the hell out of me though.  *shrug*
