I don't know about everyone else out there but I'm sick of getting
responses to my fanfics which are essencially the exact document I sent
out except for the occasional correction on my grammar or spelling. THIS
DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!!! These are also those clever people who put i
instead of I and so on so that the beginnings of their entries look like
they were written by a two year old. Don't get me wrong. I like getting
opinions on my fics. But it's the OPINIONS I care about not the little
junk.
That's one thing I can agree on. I'm not trying to start a spamwar here,
but there are only two cases in which I give C&C on grammar:
1. Someone's made a really messy mistake that a spellcheck wouldn't catch.
2. Someone is obviously trying, but English is not their native language.
3. Someone flat out has no regard for grammar or spelling.
Aside from that, I don't see where it's neccessary to nitpick over grammar.
(And yes, everyone, especially that *one* *person* who has flagged me on
it, I *know* I just misspelled necessary. It's personal taste. :P So
there!)
