Sean: Time for more C&C of the Younger Venus series!
Hotaru: Where, as usual, we spend more time imagining what will come
         next than doing actual critiquing...
Sean: And that won't change. The story took a few interesting turns.
Sakuya, though I doubt I'll ever *like* her, is actually
getting a lot of character development, even at the ripe old
       age of 125.
Hotaru: What don't you like about her?
Sean: Her attempts to blame all her problems on someone else, not to
mention her general attitude just grates on me. However, the
scenes with her and Chibi-Usa were excellent.
Hotaru: Wonder when Chibi-Usa and Setsuna will have their little
         chat?
Sean: It better be in this story, or else I'll freak.
Hotaru: What do you mean?
Sean: This is an ongoing epic saga. It could take a few stories for
       them even to meet again.
Hotaru: Anyway, we might get back to Crystal Tokyo next part. Think
         we'll meet me?
Sean: Well, Doug has promised me...
Hotaru: I wonder what Sakuya thinks of me.
Sean: Well, I doubt she'd call you a 'grunt', at least not to your
face. I doubt she likes you much, though.
Hotaru: By the way, I really object to the term 'grunt'.
Sean: It's supposed to be offensive. Besides, 'grunt' is probably
a word used by Haruka and Michiru a lot.
Hotaru [baps Sean with glaive]: HENTAI!!!
Sean: And don't forget it. Now then. We finally learn why Sakuya
hates Pluto...and frankly I found it intriguing. Looks like
we've got a big ol' case of self-loathing here.
Hotaru: What do you mean?
Sean: Look, if Pluto hadn't done what she did, Sakuya's mother
       wouldn't have run away, right?
Hotaru: So she says.
Sean: Right. And she never would have met Sakuya's father, and
Sakuya would never have been born. Pluto did all that to
ensure Sakuya's birth, because Sakuya was so important to help
       bring about the timeline.
Hotaru: Um...Okay.
Sean: Deep down, Sakuya knows this, and subconsciously blames
herself for her grandmother's unhappiness. This will not be
helped by her running back to the future in Part 9, which will
probably send the Makoto of the past into a big emotional
       shell.
Hotaru: You do love painting these nasty pictures, don't you?
Sean: I call 'em as I see 'em. I'm still hoping for a happy ending.
Maybe if they join up with Azurite and the Golden Millennium
       crew...
Hotaru: Wrong series!
Sean: How 'bout this: Sakuya wants to get revenge on Pluto. She
can't very well make Pluto's life miserable, as Pluto already
has the most miserable existence possible. So she kills
Pluto. Unfortunately, she was relying on that to solve all
of her personality problems. She now finds she has the same
doubts, but no convenient target. We get to watch her slow
       descent into madness...
Hotaru: Sean, two words. Get Help.
Sean: Sorry. Hey, I had a nasty evil blackness inside me. Cut me
       some slack.
Hotaru: I thought I got rid of that? Do I have to give you another
         physical examination?
Sean: Um...we are supposed to be reviewing...
Hotaru: I'll wear the Eudial costume.
Sean: Really?
Hotaru: Oh-hohohohohohoho!
Sean: So anyway, we really liked it, great job, looking forward to
more. Got a million things to do, bye!!

[blinds drawn at this point]
