I thought it was Genma who told everybody about this, before the "cute"
remark.

     "Cologne-san?  I am Health Inspector Second Class Morisato.
I work for the City of Nerima."

Cologne's lucky; Nabby could have sent Skuld or Urd instead. :-)

     He looked at her sternly.  "You do not keep it in the
kitchen?"

"Why is it wearing glasses?"

"Because they don't make duck-sized contact lenses, of course!"

     Nodoka smiled hopefully as Ukyou suddenly broke into a grin
and giggled.  "So you agree, then?" she asked.

     Ukyou nodded.  "Hai... okaachan."  A thought took her, and
she hopped out of bed, favouring her side.

Gack...

Sorry, but she agreed to this WAY too easily for it to be believable to
me.

Okay, she knows Nodoka wants Ranma to marry Akane, but it doesn't seem
like she was convinced at this point that Ranma feels the same way. I
would therefore think she'd be planning to wait her chance to elope with
him after he and Akane have a major fight. Being his sister would kind of
preclude this.

If she is just giving up here, I would think she'd be a lot more pissed
about having been strung along (as I think she'd see it) for so many
years. This is the Ukyo who threw exploding okonomiyaki at the wedding,
y'know.
