This is the crossover idea I came up with a yesterday ago. It got quite 
a bit of positive response, though a few of you went off in your own 
directions with the topic. I set it up as a typical episode of The Dukes
Of Hazzard right down to Waylon Jennings as the narrator. I'd really 
like some responses to this one.

Waylon Jennings: Tonight.. On The Dukes..(music and clips etc.)The boys 
get chased by Chicago bounty hunters and Rosco tries to beat them to the
punch. (music ends.) 

The Dukes Of Hazzard Theme: (Everybody sing along!)

Just a good old boys
Never meaning no harm
Beats all you never saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they
was born 
Staighting the curves
Flapping their gills (No, I have no idea what this means.)
Someday the mountain might get 'em but the law never will
Making their waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay the only way they know how
That's just a little bit more than the law will allow
Just a good old boys
Wouldn't change if they could
Fightin' the system like a two modern day Robin Hood.


Waylon Jennings: It was just a normal, peaceful mornin' in Hazzard 
county which means things are about to get really complicated. Now 
what'd you suppose them two gals in the fancy car are doin' way out 
here? 

"Don't we have enough to do in Chicago as it is, Rally?" asked May "I 
mean, why do we have to go looking for trouble." 
"Things have been kinda slow.." said Rally paying the majority of her 
attention to the road. 
	"So what's wrong with that?"
	"Uh.. May, where are we anyhow?"
"Just a sec, I'll check the map... Uh.. Hazzard county." Minnie May 
looked up from the map "Great. I'll bet this is one of those dull towns 
where nothing ever happens, we're wasting our time here, Rally." 

Waylon Jennings: Obviously those two have never been to Hazzard before. 
Now those two are in for a surprise 'cause here come the Dukes. 

The General Lee roared right past Rally Vincent's GT-500 and kept right 
on going. 
	Rally swerved sharply to the point of almost going off the road.
	"Jeez... Why don't those guys watch where they're going?" grumbled May.
"C'mon, let's see if we can catch 'em. I wan't to give them a piece of 
my mind." said Rally as she stepped on the gas. The car roared off after
the General. 

	"Dang it, Bo.." said Luke "You almost hit that car back there."
	"Sorry, Luke, but we're in a serious hurry here." replied Bo.

Waylon Jennings: Now in case you're wonderin' why the Dukes are in such 
a hurry they're running late with Uncle Jesse's mortgage payment an' ol'
Boss Hogg ain't about to let 'em be a second late. 

Rally's car was catching up to the General Lee just as both cars zoomed 
right past one of Hazzard county's famous speed traps and who else was 
there but Deputy Enos, who immediately went after them in his patrol 
car. 
"What in the...?" May looked out the back window "Where'd he come from?"
"Great.." mumbled Rally "The last thing we need is a speeding ticket 
right now." 

"Talk about timing.." said Bo nervously as he looked into the rear view 
mirror "We don't have the time to stop for Enos." 

The three cars sped down the dirt roads of Hazzard with no one taking 
their foot off the acellerator for any reason. But both Bo and Rally had
somewhat better driving talents and managed to take the wild turns 
fairly well while Enos swerved off the road and right into Hazzard lake,
not that this was unusual. As always Enos bobbed to the surface and swam
for the shore. 
Meanwhile, Rally was still chasing the General which isn't an easy thing
to pull off. Just ask old Rosco. 
	"Hey, what happened to that patrol car?" asked May.
"I think he took a header right into that lake back there." replied 
Rally. 

The cars aproached a gap in the road which was really just a small river
in a fairly deep valley. Those of you eho know the Dukes can guess what 
happens next. The General was within a few feet of the gap. 
	"Hang on!" shouted Bo.
The General Lee hit the incline at top speed and launched itself over 
the gap in the road. After a couple of seconds the car landed on the 
other side of the ridge. 
"What in..?" said Rally who was so amazed she forgot to stop the car so 
that it hit the incline at roughly eighty miles an hour and was launched
into the air... 

Waylon Jennings: And now you know what happens when outsiders get caught
in an average day in Hazzard county...
