This is such a bizarre message.  Do you think it odd that popular series
get a lot of people writing about them?  What, do you want us to write
about series and movies we've never seen?  Shall I start writing Legend
of Galactic Heros or Devilman fiction?  Hey, I've got a vague idea
what they were about.  I suppose I could cheat and write "Famous Mouse
Detective" fiction.  I haven't seen that one either, but I have read
Sherlock Holmes.  It's enough to make me give up on my Bubblegum 
Crisis/Gall Force Earth Chapter crossover.  I feel unappreciated.

Besides he answered his own question.  "Some other fics do pop up
once in a while."  So the answer is "Yes, someone out there is writing
up other than those fics"

Will some oldtimer tell this poor boy about the days when messages like

Crisis...  how many different kinds fo you want?

Heck, we even get Dir- ah... Lovely Angels, UY, and DBZ occasionally.
