Ranma: Let me get this straight. Richard Lawson considers this a failure?

Ryoga: (sniffing) Did you think this a failure?

Ranma: (wiping eyes) No. It was very well written, though it didn't affect
me at all. It didn't affect you, did it?

Ryoga: (sniffing) No. Why you ask?

Ranma: (wiping eyes) You sound affected.

Ryoga: Me? No, I wasn't affected! I just...just got a cold! Yeah! (blows
nose) So are you affected?

Ranma: No way! I just got something in my eye, that's all! (rubs eyes)
Just...got something...

(They both look at each other, then fall into each other arms, bawling.
After a minute, they freeze, look at each other again, then begin beating
the hell out of each other.)

Ranma: AFFECTED?! (punch, jab) NO, NOT US! 

Ryoga: YEAH! (kick, slap) WE'RE MANLY MEN! WE DON'T GET AFFECTED! WE GET
VIOLENT!

Ranma: (stops fighting) But did you get a little misty-eyed when Usagi ran
back to hug her mother?

Ryoga: Oh yeah. Oh...that was so beautiful!

(They fall sobbing into each other's arms again...only to catch themselves
and resume beating each other up for face's sake.)
