A: What drives a writer to finish or stop writing the story they're
working
on?

Several factors can attribute to this. An author may become fed up with
their own story, or write themselves into a corner--developing plot
situations that they can't figure out a way to resolve.

Personally, there's another reason why I stop work on a fanfic. I write for
one reason: it's fun. When a story I'm working on ceases being fun to
write, I lose interest in it, and thus am no longer inclined to work on it.

C: Whatever happened to Knights of the Saber?

Jeez, you don't give Doherty-san much time to work on things, do you? It
hasn't even been two weeks since he posted the prologue, and already you're
writing it off as a fic that's not getting finished? It takes time to write
these things, you know. Have patience. When he lets it sit for two months
without putting out something new, *then* start worrying.
