What about poor old Mamoru?

No seriously, the main problem I have with M&U's relationship is that it's
NOT a meeting of equals.  I always have the feeling that Mamoru doesn't
really respect Usagi at all.  He respects Princess Serenity, but not
Usagi/Sailor Moon.  He's sort of part father/part older brother/part
protector/part lover.  There's too many parts.

R&U, the way you've built it, is a much more healthy relationship.  Ranma
has respect for Usagi, in and out of combat.  He tries to help her, and
while he does see the need to protect her, he also lets her protect him. 
It's a much more equal relationship.  Ranma is part protector/part lover. 
Mostly lover.  It works for me.

That kind of ruins the "rant" nature of it.  It's not supposed to be a
sentence.

True, one of the better fics I've read.  I especially like the work on
Hotaru.

Huh? Explanation?  I re-read the synopsis and I have no clue what you mean.

[Flashman: Um, note here.  The Outer Senshi didn't die in the Silver 
Millenium.  For a reason I forget, they had abandonded their post and 
when they came back, they were caught in the origional Serenity's 
power beam and reincarnated in the future.]

I'm using the anime universe.  In mine, the Generals WEREN'T Endymion's
friends, and the Outer Senshi died.  I don't think they ever mentioned what
happend to them in the anime.

"Ares doesn't live here anymore - there is only Blood," he intoned, 
and then laughed again.  "I always wanted to say that." Black fire 
formed around Blood's left arm, swirling to form a disk-like shape.  
"One of my problems before was that I didn't use this body's natural 
reflexes.  It wants a shield, it gets one."  He spun, and the disk of 
shadow flew towards Sailor Mars, who stood motionless.

[Flashman: This guy's ripping off Captain America!  Now he MUST go 
down!]

Umm...the entire Shieldsman CONCEPT is a CA ripoff.  You JUST noticed?
