Any comments you want to give me are welcome. Even MSTs, if you can figure
out a way to do one on something this short.

Wasyuu: <grinning> Suit yourself. ^_^
Shachihoko: <frowns> You two must've been really impatient, or desperate.
Lina Inverse: Hey, *you're* the one who wanted to try an MST!
Shachihoko: <sweatdrop> True enough. ^_^;

The Power of the Gods.

"Commence power transmission. Switch all circuits."

Wasyuu: I like it already!

The island went black, as all available power was transferred
in order to prepare for the firing.

	"Start the accelerator."

	"Release the final safety locks."

"Ten." "Nine." "Eight." "Seven." "Six." "Five." "Four."
	"Three." "Two." "One."

A switch was pressed. It was a symbolic action, a way of
registering intent to a machine. The short distance it
traveled seemed insignificant compared to the energies
it controlled. But it was pushed anyway, and the machine
	responded.

From the end of the accelerator, a beam of blue-white light,
rich with energy, shot towards its target.

Shachihoko: Very dramatic start . . .
Lina: Kinda like my incantation for the Dragon Slave, ne? ^_^
Wasyuu: Don't let's start that again . . . besides, the katakana read
DuRaGu-SuReIVu, or Dragu-Slave. Dragu, not Dragon.
Lina: How corrupt do you want the name to be? Besides, look at Escaflowne
- Dragu-Energists, those came from Dragons.
Shachihoko: Ahem. Ladies? <thinking> (And I use the term loosely . . . )

1889.

The man stood, facing the island, even as the the brilliant
light smashed into it. Only the mask he was wearing saved him
from blindness. Yet he had waited for this day.

It was the Light of God, that had given power to the Atlantean
race. And now, he would use it once more to restore that power.

Lina: Oh, is this where the Gods come into it?

2015.

The beam shot from the barrel of the positron rifle. Shinji's
aim was true, and is smashed through the very center of the
sixth angel. Smoke and fire billowed from the wounds that the
beam's shot had made, as the angel slowly settled to the
	ground.

Wasyuu: Nah, just another temporal crossover. These fanfic authors seem to
like that kind of thing -
Shachihoko: *ahem* Wasyuu, remember I'm a fanfic author too. When was the
last time I did a "temporal crossover" like that?
Wasyuu: I said they 'seem to like' it - and you're reading this with
enough interest to MST it, aren't you?
Shachihoko: . . .
<Lina and Wasyuu high-five each other>

In a darkened room, halfway around the world, a lone figure
watched the conflagration. The only light came from a
screen, showing the events in Tokyo-3.

A touch of a control caused the events to replay, showing
the blast of light. He froze the display. This light he
	had seen before.

Wasyuu: <typing at her console> Let's see here. He was a man in 1889, and
he's still around in 2015 . . . this can mean only one thing.
Lina: What's that?
Wasyuu: He's unusually long-lived . . . for a human. Either that, or he's
not human.
Shachihoko: That's two things, Wasyuu.
Wasyuu: Not necessarily. For example, elves would be unusually long-lived
for humans.

The chairman was nothing if not patient. It had take quite
a bit of time, as well as much money, to complete even one
part of the project. But, this time he would not cut any
corners, he would do things the right way.

Lina: Probably the first bad guy in history to do so.
Shachihoko: Ano . . . Lina, I think you're wrong on that score. Rezo *did*
manage to resurrect Shabranigdo, after all.
Wasyuu: So did Kagato, Quincy, Vega (M. Bison to you dub-watchers), Big
Gold - <gets interrupted>
Lina: FIRE BALL!
<Shachihoko dives for cover; Wasyuu is in the center of the explosion>
Wasyuu: <completely untouched> Yes, dearie? <smiles at Lina>
Lina: I *think* you've made your point. -.-;;;
Shachihoko: I hope so. <emerges from hiding, looking a little sooty>

And so the first part of his plan was complete. The Light of
	God had returned.

Shachihoko: <looks at Wasyuu and Lina> Any comments on that one?
<Wasyuu and Lina shake their heads>
Shachihoko: So . . . for someone who hasn't seen Nadia . . . what's the
Light of God, exactly? ^_^;; I mean, I hope that's going to be explained.

The Power of the Gods.
An Evangelion / Nadia Crossover.
Coming Real Soon Now.

Lina: There you go, Shachi. Just wait until this fellow finishes the first
part; I bet there'll be an answer to your question.
Shachihoko: Either that, *or* that's exactly what he's writing about.
We'll see what happens, won't we?
Wasyuu: Depends on whether you're going to replace us or not. ^_^

<Lina and Wasyuu depart back to their "realities">

My first MST . . . n.n

Outside of the MST format: This *does* look like it'll be the basis for an
interesting story. Like I said, I don't know much (in fact, hardly
anything) about Nadia, except for the basic storyline . . . and I'm
looking forward to learning more about it through this fanfic, if
possible.

I dunno how much MSTing I'll do in the future, but the request went out
and I decided to take a shot at it. We'll see how things go, ne? n.n

do so by *private* e-mail. I don't need an MST of an MST, if it can be
helped. ^_^;;)
