Actually, I'm working on a series just like that right now...entitled
Maturity.  It's been on the back burners because I find it difficult to
portray any of the character's giving a damn.  The series starts with
Megane discovering how hollow his teenage existance truely is, and how he
clings to an idealized version of Lum to cover up his own social
inadaquacies.  Later each character suffers more than their fair share of
pain as I twist a quite happy world into a neo-Lovecraftian nightmare.
	Still, it is coming along, if only slowly.
