I'm cc'ing this to the list, 'cause I'd like some more general input
on these story points...

1. This is Riva right? Even if part of the guard was in on this, how did
they manage to sneek into the Citadil and kidnap the women? I mean this
is Akane, Shampoo, Kodachi, and Ukyo we're talking about. It would take
a lage force to do so.

I was considering the 'hostage' factor here. Quietly, only a few bad
guards could take them, *if* they got the noncombatants first, and
threatened deadly force. Does this seem realistic?

2. When did the bear cult get a foot hold on Riva? Silk said in Castle
of Wizardry that the bear cult had been looking for a foot hold for
thousands of years and not even Brand would go that far.

The foot hold they got was a single meglomaniacal priest of Belar, Koran.
It seems a little unreasonable to me that it hadn't already happened.

3. Belgrarath should have no trouble fighting, as I remember, he did
quite well with those six cultist In Guardians of the West, and again at
Kroim aginst the Grolims.

Here, I think he was a little concerned about his wife's safety, and when
he saw that Garion, Durnik, and Ranma and Co. were going all out, decided
to hold himself in reserve. Again, is this realisitc? Do I need to spell
out the motivations to make it realistic?

Those are just some nit pickings that I found. Sorry, but I've read the
series many, mnay times so I know it quite well. However, I love this
storie, everyone is in chachter, and I like your explantion of the
special techs that Ranma and co use.

Sounds like me. My paperback copy of 'Queen of Sorcery' has to be read in
chunks, because all the pages have come away from the glue spine. *sigh*

At any rate, thanks for your input. I'm still going pretty strong, so keep
an eye out for the third story.
