All done under the Stephan Tsai school of casting where it's better to go
for a match up that leads to humour than a really fitting one (AKA Akane
as Mercury...:)

  It depends on the tone of the fic.  As some people have suggested, Akane
would be a good choice for more serious fics.  Not that she couldn't be
used in a comic crossover or fusion, such as creating youmas in Home Econ
class.
