I'm working on it, but there's a good bit of work left to go on the first
part. However, I can certainly post some information about the story, so
here goes:

_The Seven Days of Fire_ is kind of an alternate ending to the Evangelion
storyline, replacing the events of _End of Evangelion_ and some of the
preceding timeline. Instead of the Human Instrumentality Project and the
Third Impact, this "final disaster" will leave the Earth at least vaguely
inhabitable - if you can describe it that way when the land is slowly
being overrun by a forest of giant fungi which emit a poisonous miasma.

In short, _The Seven Days of Fire_ links the Evangelion storyline to the
history of _Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind_ - that, and the "God Warriors"
(although they aren't called that during the Seven Days), are the real
grounds for calling this a crossover; besides those elements, this is
really going to be an Evangelion fanfic.

I'm hoping to write this in a total of seven chapters, one per "day," but
telling much of the story in "flashbacks" to the events that actually led
up to the beginning of the Seven Days of Fire. It's a tricky format to
work with, I'll admit, and C&C will be *much* appreciated once I finish
Day One to the point where it's postable.

Hopefully that won't take too much longer. :)
