Pro for Ranma:  
1) Usagi doesn't hit him nearly as often as his other suitors.
2) Usagi improves at cooking more rapidly than Akane (who *does*

improve 

in the manga, thank you very much.)
3) Usagi doesn't mind being rescued all the time.
4) At full power, Usagi can take on all the other suitors at once.

5) Usagi actually LISTENS to him, unlike ALL the other fiancees.
 

Pro for Usagi:
1) Ranma is closer to her intellectual level than Mamoru.
2) Ranma can fill in as a senshi if needed; he looks good in a

miniskirt. 

3) Ranma didn't get possessed twice, dump her over a dream, and DIE!

2) She's already seen the future, and Ranma wasn't there.  Indeed,

given 

when Chibi-Usa was born, it would seem he didn't even make it the next 
four years...

I have a problem with this statement, because they saw under a dozen
people in the future.  How the hell do they know who's there or not?
