The Dark Lord strode ominously through the captured ship, ignoring
the rebel bodies littering the corridors. The Commander in charge of
the boarding force saluted at the sight of his superior's ominous form.

The voice that came from was dark and resonant. "Commander. I trust
that you left someone alive for interrogation."

The Commander was a professional, so he didn't whimper or faint. "Yes,
m'lord. We have the Captain intact and ready for interrogation." He
gestured at a uniformed ship's officer being held by two troopers.

"Good." The Dark Lord reached out and grabbed the hapless rebel by the
throat, lifting him with one hand so that the top of his head brushed
against the roof of the passageway. "You were transporting something
of great interest to the Empire, Captain. Tell me where it is."

The man gasped, "We are a consular ship on a diplomatic mission..."

"If this is a consular ship, then _where_ is the ambassador?" Losing
patience, the evil being casually snapped his victim's neck with a
simple twist of his hand, and tossed the carcass away. Having scanned
the rebel's mind, the Dark Lord knew that even the Captain hadn't been
entrusted with the true nature of his mission. But in his mind, there
was an image of someone familiar. The Dark One turned to the Commander
and ordered, "Tear this ship apart. I want the passenger and what she
has."

It didn't take long before the passenger was being escorted by four
troopers before His Dark Eminence. She was young, cute, dressed in
virginal white, with an oddly distinctive hairstyle that had become
her trademark with the public. "Ah, Princess. If you give me the
information I require, you will save yourself more suffering than you
can imagine."

She looked up at him, and her lower lip began to quiver, then she
wailed, "Why are you being so meeeean to me? Waaaaaaaaaah!"

Lord Obsidianite winced. He'd forgotten how annoying she could be.
It was impossible that an important mission could have been
trusted to this idiot. Oh well, she still had value as a hostage.
"Commander," he ordered. "Find suitably soundproof accomodation for
Princess Usagi."
