ÐÏࡱá. "Rini, wake up, it's early but today is
going to be a busy day. I have a surprise for you."
"Huh.. Serena?" The little girl asked coming awake.
"Rini, how would you like a vacation?" Serena asked, immediately
pulling up a false front, hopefully able to get the girl excited.
"A vacation? What do you mean?" She asked, her eyes
narrowed.
"Do remember when I told you about our Aunt Vessa and how
she wanted us to spend some time with her in Gothem?"
        "Yeah... maybe....."
"Well, I decided I wanted to go, and I was wondering if you
wanted to go to." Serena told her, showing that she was disappointed
that the little girl was questioning her decision to leave.
"I don't know Serena." The little girl said, "I'll have to think about
it." The little girl seemed to have taken the bait and moved around
dressing quickly. "I'm going to the park Serena, I need to go for a
walk."
Serena watched the little girl leave and put her plan into action.
After a quick shower and a rush to get dressed Serena decided that
she needed an added push from a higher power in order to get Rini to
go.
She slipped out the door and headed the same direction her
'cousin' had gone in and easily spotted her once she was in the park.
She was sitting a swing crying softly, talking to Luna Ball.
Serena ducked out of site and transformed. She knew she was
only supposed to do this during emergencies but she counted this as
one.
She walked up behind Rini, "Hello Rini." She said calmly.
The little girl turned around and her eyes widened at the site of her
heroine. "Sailor Moon?"
"Yup." Sailor Moon nodded. "I hear your friend Serena wants
you to go with her to America."
"How do you know?" Rini asked.
"Rini, I know more than you think I do. It's my job to make sure that everyone is safe and in your case, that your happy to."
        "I don't think I should go..."
"Rini, the truth is I've talked about this with Serena. We agree that this vacation of yours could get you safely away from Rubeus...." As she talked the tiny girls eyes brightened. "and it has occurred to us that your mom may not even be in Japan and that you could look for her in
America."
"I never thought of that....." Rini whispered.
"Rini, I will protect you wherever you, do you trust me in this?
Will you go where you will be safe and maybe happy?"
"Sailor Moon, thank you!" She hugged Sailor Moon and told her
she had to go see Darian.
"How about I walk you there and you keep our talk a secret,
okay?"
"Okay." Rini said nodding her head happily.
"Promise?" Sailor Moon asked helping the little girl up.
"Promise." She answered as Sailor Moon picked up Rini and
dropped her down on her back, giving her a piggy back ride.
"Come on, hold on tight.!" She giggled to the little girl before she
speed through the park and onto the house roof tops which was her
own little highway.
Rini giggled the whole way there. "Now Rini, I will be wherever
you are so whenever you are in trouble, call me and I'll come for you if
your in trouble. But when you need to talk, I suggest you talk to Serena
from now on, okay?"
"Okay." Sailor Moon watched the girl disappear into Darian's
apartment building before leaping into an alley and detransforming
before she headed to Ray's Temple, humming to herself the them from
Sailor V's new movie.
Serena managed to be there early, it was quarter of nine and
inside the walls of the shrine she could her the others discussing why
Serena had called a meeting.
She cleared her throat rather loudly and it was clear she was
angry because they were talking behind her back. "Maybe you should
ask me why I called a meeting instead of talking behind my back!" She
practically yelled.
"Okay Serena, calm down already." Ray said bitterly.
"For my 'dearest' friends, I thought maybe you'd be upset I was
leaving but now I see I am completely wrong, looks as though you'd be
more than happy to get rid of me."
They were taken aback and instantly quieted.
"I decided that it would be safer for Rini if she was removed from
the equation, meaning we take her out of Rebeus' reach and strike to
kill and end this mess once and for all.........."
"And how do you suppose we do that Meat Ball Brain?" Ray
taunted.
"Shove it Shrine Girl." Serena snapped before turning to the rest
of them.
"I and Rini are going on a vacation to stay with an aunt of our's. It
has been decided that we don't disclose the location unless it is an
emergency situation in order to contain the knowledge to a bare
minimum.
"I have had it arranged so that we can leave as soon as possible
and it appears that without my knowledge it has been made ready for
us to leave tomorrow. I was thinking two weeks but my source had
ready transportation if we were able to leave tomorrow...."
Ray had ignored the conversation, fuming over the fact that
Serena had one upped her. "SHRINE GIRL!"
"Pick an acre!" Serena hissed. "Unfortunately you proved what a
twit you are by missing the most important information you've received
since Beryl. maybe someone will explain it to you some time."
"AN ACRE WHAT"S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!" Ray
shrieked.
"Serena, your serious aren't you?" Mina asked quietly.
"Another reason I'm leaving is because it's obvious, and clearly
shown by your actions today, I'm not wanted here. Who knows how
long things have been going on like this, I'm sorry but I just won't take it
anymore." Serena said calmly as four pairs of eyes looked at her in
shock.
"You were always telling me to grow up and act responsible and
when I finally did you acted as though nothing had changed, in fact you
treated me worse.
"It was okay when it was just Ray, and I got over my problems
with Darian, but never in the whole Millennia did I ever believe you'd all
be capable of that kind of cruelness. In fact you make Beryl look kind!"
That was the last thing Serena said to her friends that day, and
who knew how long it would be before she was able to apologize for
how angry she was, or they apologize to her in turn. But that was part
of life, Serena had finally grown up. She had grown to achieve what her
mother, Serenity would be proud of, she'd grown a spine and was no
longer afraid and docile, and the whole time they never even noticed.
"Oh my God....." Mina whispered as tears pulled behind her eyes.
"What have we done?" She asked as the tears started burning trails
down her cheeks.
That sat there for hours, absorbing what was happening, they
never even noticed the sound of the Droid crashing through the temple
towards them, who knew if it was for the better.....
The Droid looked into the shrine, Rubeus had commanded him
her to capture this Crystal Point. Slowly, and carefully he began to
drain the plants and animals, and quickly took out the crows, the boy
with a bad voice and the old man.
When it approached the fire room where the grieving Scouts sat,
the only warning they received was the flash of the Sacred Fire.
Ray turned toward it, her purplish eyes blazing in fury, "Someone
has desecrated the temple!" She snapped, bringing the Scouts back to
reality.
They all jumped to their feet. "Mercury..
        "Venus...
        "Mars....
        "Jupiter......
        "STAR POWER!"
In the small Fire Room, light of blue, green, gold and red blazed
as the four Scouts transformed. "For Serena..." Venus whispered...
"For Serenity!" She yelled, a fierce battle cry which shook the paper
thin walls of the Shrine as she called to her planet for power.
"For SERENITY!" Echoed the other three Scouts following suit.
Each felt new power surging threw their veins as they called to
their planets in a plea of mercy and forgiveness.
        "Mercury Tsunami.....
        "Mars Inferno.....
        "Venus Love.......
        "Jupiter Storm.........
        Wave!"
        Blaze!"
        Shock!"
        Fury!"
A giant wave crashed over the droid followed by a fiery blaze, a
rainbow of Love 'Me Chains and the fury of a typhoon, passing over it
and forming into a ball of power which the Scouts fed.
"That the best you can do? Pathetic Sailor Scouts!" Laughed the
droid as all four attacks missed it.
"Scout POWER!" The four screamed and the ball of fire, water,
love and nature crashed into the droid leaving nothing, not even the
crystal which had stood atop it's head.

                                ***

Serena walked to Darian's, not hearing the sounds of the battle
behind her, even though it was loud enough to cause pedestrians to flee
the area. She was still getting over the fact that they had turned on her
the way they had, but she had a future now. True it would be hard in a
strange land without them but she could do it.
She didn't expect to find Darian waiting for her with Rini.
"The others agree with this?" He demanded taking her arm
roughly.
She pulled away and slapped him across the face, lightly. "The
others, like you, have turned away and abandoned me, have no say in
the matter." She was fierce as a lioness, protecting her cub.
"What do you mean abandoned... no say!" He was fuming.
"Darian, there comes a time when ones safety must be
considered, and it was decided removing her from the equation will
allow the Sailor Scouts to defeat Rubeus while she continues the search
for her parents in safety."
"Serena what has happened to you? Your so cold..." He thought
inwardly.
"At least I don't have to see your face any longer!" HE snapped,
knowing that driving her further away was the answer to keeping her
safe, but allowing her to take Rini was the only problem he had. The
little girl had been his salvation since he was forced to leave Serena.
"Yeah Darian, the feeling is mutual." She snapped, her words
hitting him like knives in his heart. Serena lost all anger when she turned
to Rini and returned to the calmness which was Serenity, practiced
resolve and kind nature.
"You ready munchkin? We gotta pack for our trip!" Serena
forced herself to sound cheerful, and in fact, she was a little happier. It
was like a major weight had been lifted from her and she was finally
free to get on with her life.
"You bet!" Rini bounced happily. The little child was excited
about her first plan trip and seeing another country.
"Race you to the Arcade, we can get some ice cream, my treat?"
Serena asked kneeling down to the child's level.
"Your on, Rini took off full steam and Serena bounded after her,
carefree, like the child she used to be.
If she had looked back she would have seen Darian collapse onto
a bench as his heart literally shattered. "It's done Serena.... your safe
now, even from me." He whispered, never noticing the light rain which
began to fall, instead he watched her disappear over the hill.

                                ***

Serena let Rini win, the little girl hadn't had a reason to be happy
in a long time and Serena was determined to make this time she spent
with her happy.
"You win shorty." Serena said, falsely gasping for air, following
the girl into the arcade.
"Serena can we play a few games before we go?" Rini asked.
"Well I've got a little bit of money that won't does any good when we
get there so we might as well."
Rini pushed through the door and Serena followed the little girl
inside. "Hi Serena, Hi Rini." Andrew called looking up from the brand
new, first ever.... Sailor Moon game!
"Serena, you wanna test drive our newest game?" He invited
popping in some quarters.
"Sailor Moon! They made a Sailor Moon game?" Serena asked
hitting the two player button and making room for Rini.
"Yeah they're coming out with a whole series of them. One for
each scout. They're releasing Project Mercury next month."
"This is soo cool!" Rini and Serena squealed at the same time.
"So what's new Serena? Haven't seen you around in awhile."
Andrew asked as he worked on the machines twin.
"Well, I've been really busy with my cousin and umm... I'm
moving."
"When?" He asked surprised. "I didn't know you were leaving!"
He was shocked, he'd always treated Serena like a little sister.
"Umm, kinda soon... like... tomorrow." Serena admitted after she
screamed at the machine when she got zapped by a familiar looking
Droid Hypnotica.
"Tomorrow! Serena your not serious!" He yelled while inside he
was thinking Darian had to be dieing inside. He remembered after the
fiasco with Darian and his sister Lizzie, that Darian confided that he was
having these awful dreams.
"Yeah! We're going to stay with my Aunt Vanessa. Her friend
Bruce Wayne is stopping here for us tomorrow on his way back to the
states."
He totally missed the fact she was heading out with one of the
worlds most prominent people; the only thing he noticed was the fact
that she was really going.
"Wow.... how long have you known?" He asked in and out of his
own thoughts. He remembered how hard it had been on him when Rita
had left, he was thinking Darian might go off the deep end.
"Actually just today. We got the okay last night and I was thinking
a few weeks, but nope, I was wrong. Vessa thought it would be easier
for us if we went right away, you know. No second thoughts."
"Gosh Serena, does Darian know?" Andrew asked carefully.
"That creep!" Serena fumed, "Why'd he care?"
        "Serena..."
"He's such a jerk! Always coming to my rescue then leaving,
deciding he doesn't even care! Ohh he makes me so made! Him, that
Ray and all the others, they're sooo self righteous! They all deserve
each other!"
Andrew was shocked. He'd never seen her that angry before,
even Rini backed away a little bit.
"Serena? You okay!" Andrew asked, obviously concerned.
Serena had never spoken about her friends like that before.
"Oh my God! RINI LOOK AT THE TIME!!!! WE GOTTA
PACK!!!!!!" Serena yanked the little girl from the arcade game and
when the girl saw the clock they both hollered: "AHH! We're SOOOO
late!" and the took off, twin hurricanes flying down the sidewalk.
Andrew closed up early, it had been a slow day anyway and
made his way to Darian's. He was surprised to find his best friend
sitting on a bench outside. He looked like he had nothing left.
"Darian? You okay?" He asked, sitting next to him.
        "Huh?"
When Darian looked up, blinking his confused eyes, Andrew got
a window into his friends tortured soul. What he saw wasn't just pain,
but grief...... his eyes were almost mad!

                                ***

Serena and Rini thundered through Juban at a treterous pass,
dodging people as they passed. Unknowingly Serena plowed someone
over and in the process landed flat on her face. Rini, still traveling at a
matched breakneck pass was unable to skid to a halt and landed on
top of the pair already on the ground.
"Why don't you watch where your going!" The pair screamed at
the unsuspecting guy in front of them in unison.
"Serena! What's wrong with you?" Molly asked coming up behind
Melvin whom the two had inadvertainly plowed over.
"Melvin!" Serena yelled in surprise. "I'm sorry it's just we're in
such a hurry and we're so late... Molly! Thank goodness! I haven't
gotten to talk to you yet."
"Talk to me about what?" She asked helping her boyfriend up off
the ground.
"Molly, something happened and my parents decided because of
the monsters and everything, that they should send me to live with my
Aunt Vanessa." Serena said sounding depressed,
"Your ^RICH^ Aunt Vanessa?" Melvin asked.
"Shut up Melvin!" Serena and Molly both snapped.
        "Serena, when?" Molly asked sadly.
        "Tomorrow." Serena said softly.
        "Tomorrow..." Molly acknowledged in disbelief...
"TOMORROW!" She screamed. "You can't be serious! Serena, why
haven't you told me?" She sounded hurt.
"Gosh Moll, I didn't know myself until this morning and I've been
running all day saying good-bye to people and when ever I went by
you weren't home."
"Come on Serena, I'll help you pack. See ya later Melvin!" Molly
cried over her shoulder as she began to drag Serena toward her home.
"Molly, this is something I have to do alone. It's gonna be hard for
me to leave, I have no choice in the matter now that the decision has
been made, we need to say our good-byes, here and now... I don't
think I could bare it...."
They stopped in front of Serena's house, Rini promptly ran inside.
Molly started crying and so did Serena. "Good-bye Serena..."
"No, Molly, it isn't good-bye, it's see you later." Molly hugged her
friend and then left.
Serena so badly wanted to tell Molly the truth. Since the whole
Nephlite thing and the time sweep, they'd grown apart. Serena
suddenly took off after her friend. "Molly your my best friend in the
whole world and they're is something that I want to tell you before I
go."
"What is it Serena?" She asked brushing the tears from her eyes.
"It is a secret and I kept it from you because I was afraid to put
you in any danger and I have to tell you...."
"Tell me what Serena?" Molly asked confused.
"Molly...." Serena looked around finding no one within earshot.
"I'm Sailor Moon, I'm leaving in order to protect the 'Rabbit' from
those that are trying to capture her in order to alter the future.
"Molly I know I should have told you but you have to
understand... we've been through so much, please forgive me for
keeping it from you...."
Molly's eyes welled up and tears streaked down her face. "You
finally told me..." She whispered. "I knew one day you'd tell me... it's
just after that big storm almost everyone forgot their memories, almost
a year disappeared and I remembered. Somehow I knew."
"Molly, I'm sorry, just promise me you won't tell the others that
you know. I could be in serious trouble."
"I know Serena, don't worry. Your secret is safe with me."
Serena and Molly hugged again and they both went their separate
ways. Serena went home and Molly..... Molly went to the park where
Nephlite died and sat beneath his tree..... "Nephlite... I've lost you
both..." she whispered, leaning into the tree. Here she felt close to him.
Here she felt safe. Her.. she felt her love's presence.

                                ***

It was a difficult task but Serena was done. She had successfully
packed away her belongings for the long trip to Gothem. She was
tired... so tired.... but the nightmare came.....

                                ***

(Future, Crystal Palace)
"Please Endymoin the past is changing..." Urged Serenity's voice
from inside his mind. Since she'd become crystal, in his mind was the
only place he could be near her. "Can't you feel it? It's rippling through
time, changing the past. How will it alter our future?"
Endymoin walked into the thrown room and stared at the crystal
that was his beloved Serenity. "What is it you wish me to do my love?"
He asked softly, his hand stroking the crystal which covered her face.
He saw her... a princess trapped in a crystal prison. His princess...
"Endymoin... you have a time key. Go to her. She is leaving
Tokyo, the memories of my life are changing, as are yours, I know it.
"Please my love... she is alone. She is journeying into a strange
world. A foreign place, on her own. The Twelve are appearing to me in
visions. They believe that her appearance in Gothem may awaken
them... if that happens... the past will be altered forever, this time may
not exist anymore...."
"Our daughter may not come to exist...." He whispered... his face
contorting in pain.
"You understand! Then go to her before it is too late! We're
running out of time!"
"I can't leave you unprotected...." he whispered.
"You won't be leaving me unprotected." Serenity soothed.
"Nothing but our daughter and the crystal of the past may break this
crystal shell. In a way it is protecting me... you must go to her! Now!
We are running out of time!" Serenity's voice became insistent and he
obeyed.
"As you wish my love..." He said reaching for the crystal which
hung from around his neck.
        "Crystal key............"

                                ***

Serena bolted from her sleep as her nightmare was playing itself
out. She refused to watch him die again. Dawn would soon break and
after that Mr. Wayne would be here to discuss the details of the time
they were to stay with him.
It was early, she could no longer sleep. She needed space. She
needed to walk, something told her, inside of her that she needed to go
to the park.
After dressing and checking to see that Rini was all right she made
her way from her home to the park and wondered aimlessly.
A bright light seemingly shot down from the full Moon which
floated high in the pre-dawn sky, Serena, her curiosity getting the best
of her ran toward it until the light blinded her, pooling on the dock they
found Rini.
When the light subsided she could se, outlined against the sun as it
peered over the horizon, a solitary figure.
It was hunched over, covered in a cape, Serena, wondering if the
creature was human, if it was all right crept close to it. When she would
have touched it, it moved and she lept back in fear.
It groaned, slowly pushing itself up, remaining hunched over, and
in the dawns light she made out the outline of the figure, decidedly
human, it was covered by a lavender cloak.
Clutching in her fist her broach she readied herself to transform,
for some reason she knew she should be afraid, she knew she should
run.... but she wasn't.
She approached the figure cautiously but when it turned to her,
facing her... and she recognized the face... she panicked!
Backing away she forced herself to swallow the scream
threatening to erupt from her lungs. "Serenity..." His voice came in a
shallow tone... almost haunted.....
It was recognition that she found looking into his eyes, he wasn't
Darian... no not even close. "Endymoin..." She whispered, her eyes
rolling into her head and she passed out.

                                ***

Darian who had been completing his ruetine jog only because it
was something to keep him going was shocked when he saw a capped
man pick Serena up into his arms. He nearly died when the man kissed
her forehead.
The man turned toward him and he gasped... "It's not possible."
"Hello Darian." Endymoin said, frowning at his formal self.
        "You... your voice..."
"Yes Darian, I sent to you the dreams of the future. It was the
only way."
"HOW COULD YOU! HOW COULD YOU MAKE
YOURSELF SUFFER!" Darian demanded.
"Darian, all will be answered in time, but now is not that time. I
have to take her home, and I have to see my daughter."
"Your daughter... Rini? Our daughter..." Endymoin smiled at
Darian. "The future is not written in stone. You must keep this
knowledge from her, she must discover on her own, and despite the
knowledge you still must stay away.. for a time. Things are still
uncertain, my dear Serenity encased in crystal, neither dead and neither
alive....."
Darian looked into his older selfs eyes, the reflected a torment he
had been feeling, "I know it will be hard," The man told him, "But in my
coming I learned that she must begin a quest that didn't happen the first
time, she must search out the other ten of The Twelve."
"I don't understand." Darian said quickly.
"It is not for you or I or anyone to understand, only to accept. My
time here is limited, you must go, I have to return her home and see our
daughter...."
Endymoin spin around and when his cape settled he and Serena
flashed out of time and space, Darian watched in confusion. "Serena..."
He cried out softly.

"Wake Small Lady." He whispered into his daughters ear after
returning his love to her bed.
        The child stirred.
"Small Lady.." He called his voice more urgent.
The child rolled over in her sleep and opened her eyes, and
blinked them furiously. "Daddy!" She nearly yelled, wrapping her arms
around him.
"Is it over Daddy? Can I come home Daddy? Please? You came
for me haven't you Daddy?" Asked the pinked haired girl.
"Shh, Serena. Calm yourself. I have come to remind you why you
are in the past, and I had to hold my daughter again. My heart aches
for your presence Small Lady."
        "Mommy...."
"Is still in the crystal, I only came because we sensed the time line
is changing for the better. You and Serena are going on an important
quest Small Lady. It is this quest which will reunite you with your
mother and father as they exist in this time.
"It also this quest which will awaken all of The Twelve and our
hopes for survival against the Dark Moon will no long be a hope, but a
reality."
The little girl listened to her father and when he stopped speaking
he lifted her in his arms and rocked her as he had done when she was a
baby.
"Good luck Small Lady." He whispered as she fell into sleep.
Endymoin tucked his daughter back into bed and flashed out once
again and appeared at the side of Serena's bed.
"No, Serena, it is not a dream." He watched as her eyes opened
and they went into a dreamy haze.
"Endymoin.... how I've missed you." She whispered, tears running
down her face. She reached up and pulled his head to hers and kissed
him.
It was this Endymoin she had longed to hold, this is the man she
left behind in the Silver Millennia.
He broke their kiss. It was what he needed to go on in the future
as she was held in the crystal.
"No.... don't leave me." She whispered.
"Serena, we can't you have to ready yourself for an important
quest. You must find The Twelve, for this is the first time since the
dawn of the universe that they have all lived at once."
She smiled, "I care not of The Twelve my prince, for you have
come back to me. No longer must I be alone," she pulled him down
into her tiny bed, imagining they were on the Moon, and he had come
back from battle and that they would soon be married.
"Serena, I am not your prince. Darian is your Prince. I am the one
who will be your king. Remember my love, The Twelve is your
quest...."
"Just hold me, please! I care not how long, just let me feel your
strength...."
        "Serena I have to leave."
"No I can't lose you again..." She gasped in bitter pain, "Please
don't leave me... not again! Take me with you! I'll do anything, just do
not leave me alone here. I'll go with you anywhere, just don't leave me."
"Serena, you know I can not take you with me. Your already
there, waiting for me to return. Let that be your hope.."
"No I've lost you to many times!"
"Serena, you must calm yourself. You aren't losing me! I'm
returning to you when I leave you here. Imagine yourself, alone and
afraid in the future, waiting.... I must go to her... she is you, and she
may be dieing if I stay away to long."
"Endymoin...." She called out to him as she felt his spell falling
over her, sending her into sleep... "but it is killing me as well. I can't lose
you.... not again.............."
"I know Serena, it is killing us both, but you must find The
Twelve. Your future here and now depends on it!" He kissed her still
lips before he called upon the key to return himself home to the future,
"Good-bye, Serena...."

(past, Moon Kingdom)
Time had passed since Darian had returned Serena to her mother
that night. Too much time. It would have been easy if it had only been a
few months, but three years passed, Princess Serenity was sixteen, her
people demanding she marry soon for the good of the kingdom.
Suitor after suitor from across the universe traveled to the Moon
to place a bid for the hand of the fair Serenity.
The Princess, still a child at heart, spent her time barefoot in the
gardens, on the bench where he last held her... staring at the world
which had stolen her love from her.
"Princess..." a Paige called entering the garden. "Princess
Serenity... your mother calls you, she wishes to speak to you."
Serena slipped her feet back into her slippers and followed the
boy through the halls to her mothers chamber.
"Your Majesty, your daughter...." Serenity stood and separated
herself from Allia who had come from Earth.
"Serena... come and sit child." Allia called, pulling free a chair and
placing it in the center of the room.
Serena noticed circles around the kind women's eyes, hallow..
haunted. "Of course." Serena said softly stepping toward them and
taking a sit in the indicated chair.
"Now Princess, we have distressing news, news which you must
take better than I have..." whispered the Queen of Earth.
"What... What has happened?" Serena asked, suddenly feeling
sick.
Serenity rested her hand on her friends shoulder and mentally
called the scouts of her daughter to be waiting for her, knowing upon
hearing the news her daughter would flee.
"Serena... knowing that under the circumstances you'd wish me to
chose for you because you'll be distraut. Your to marry Prince
Dimando from the far moon of Pluto called Tarsis."
(Note: this is at a time before the DARK Moon family ever existed)
"Mother..." Serena said, her voice stricken. "You know I can
not..... I've already promised myself to Prince Endymoin, how can you
ask me to forsake my love."
Serenity noticed her daughter's defensive posture and prepared
herself for the pain which was soon to fallow.
"Child, we do not ask you to forsake my son. That is why I was
asked to come here." Allia said dropping in front of her and taking her
hands into her own. "Serena... my son is gone..."
Serena pushed the women from her and stood. "What do you
mean... gone..." she asked, her voice begging her mother to tell her it
wasn't so.
"I'm sorry Serena." Her mother said softly.
"Serena, my son has disappeared from battle, his body has been
swallowed by the great Atlantic... they've searched for weeks...
Serena, my son is dead." Whispered the queen, her voice broken....
they waited....
Suddenly Serena blew up... "NO! YOU LIE! I WOULD HAVE
FELT HIM DIE! HE HAS TO BE ALIVE!!" She fled screaming
his name as she ran throughout the palace. "NOO!
Her scouts followed, staying close to her. Mars cried softly for
her princess.
Princess Serenity found herself in the garden. Her head resting in
her hands on a stone bench she looked up to the Earth light which hung
high in the starry sky.... "No.." she called out to Earth.
        "ENDYMOIN!"

                                ***

For days the princess had not taken food or water. She hadn't
moved from her bed. They'd expected her to take it poorly, but never
in their wildest imaginings did they think that the child would take it as
she had.
Finally, her mother no longer willing to stand by entered her
daughters chambers and yelled at her daughter for shaming Endymoin's
memory.
Serenity watched in horror as her daughter backed away from
her.
"NO! He is not dead! He lives... I can't go on with out him... I can
not live with out him!"
Serenity stared horrified now, had her daughter gone mad?
"Oh Serena." She whispered drawing her daughter into her arms.
"The whole time I listened to the demands of our people. I didn't know
you loved him so much."
"Mother he can't be gone... he can't!"
Fort the first time in days the princess of the Moon slept. Her
sleep haunted by dreams of her love. He promised he'd come back to
her.. how could he lie like that.
Throughout the night she called out for him, her soul tortured,
grieving.... demanding for peace from the terror of reality.
Her scouts watched over her, the had feared that their princess
would do the unthinkable, they knew givin the opportunity she would. It
was decided that one of them would be with her at all times.

                                ***

Months later Serena was to be presented to court because she
had come of age. Soon they would introduce Serena to the man from
Tarsis who had been at court watching the princess for almost a month
now.
Princess Serenity walked into the ball room, Serenity smiled at her
daughter, aiding her with her very strength. Her daughter was too thin
now. Not severely so, but the fact she was still grieving showed. The
sparkle which had only months before danced before her eyes when
dreamed of her union with Endymoin was gone, so was the laughter
that had made the Moon such a happy place.
Allia had stayed on the Moon. Her husband had ordered it so as
the armies of the Negaverse advanced on their home land. This way,
Serenity had help with her grieving daughter.
Allia too was still grieving. She and the princess often talked of
her son and ended up crying together.
The princess greeted the court goers with a nod of her head. She
denied chances to dance, and remained at her mother and Allia's side,
still ghostly pale, her eyes cloudy with fresh pain.
Serenity whispered to Allia that the scouts were correct, that the
princess wasn't ready yet. Sadly, they had hoped a ball would raise her
spirits, if anything, the ground they had gained was slowly slipping
away.
The Princess never noticed when a number of soldiers from Earth
entered, in fact she hadn't noticed the fact Edrick had dragged his wife
away. Through the thin chamber walls separating the small sitting room
where he took her Serenity and Serena heard the women scream.
"Allia..." Serena whispered, her surroundings registering in her
head. "Mother what's going on." She asked, shaking her head as
though to clear it.
"Venus why don't you take Serena for a walk, I'll see what is
wronge with Allia." She suggested to the scout who had been assigned
her for the next hour.
Venus nodded and quietly led the Princess away to the gardens
where Serena ran promptly to the bench that she'd shared with him so
long ago and curled up on it, enjoying the peace that was around her.
She cried softly as memories of that night flowed through her
head, her own words echoing in her ears.
"Oh Endy.. it's all so perfect." She whispered... reliving the
memory, hugging herself as she lay her head against the cold stone. "It
was so perfect... and now there is nothing...."
She stood and glared at the Earth, though it's light was bright this
evening, she resisted the urge to curse the huge planet which loomed
above her in the sky.

                                ***

He had had a difficult time explaining to his mother about the
explosion... the amnesia... but after about an hour his mother only held
him in her arms and cried. "My baby..." She whispered, until Queen
Serenity caught her eye. "My goodness, look at me... I'm such a selfish
old women. Go my son, your princess has waited long enough."
She smiled as her son thanked her for dismissing him.
"Endymoin... wait.." Queen Serenity called to him. "She has been
sick with grief, you won't see the girl you left behind, we need you to
help bring her back before we lose her completely."
Queen Serenity told him that she sent her daughter into the
gardens with Venus, then she went to disclose the news of the Prince's
survival to her court, and a very angry Dimando.
Endymoin remembered proper etiquette despite his urge to run to
the garden and pull her into his arms. He waited until the Queen had
passed through the doorway first, then he charged full steam ahead for
the gardens.
When he reached her and Venus saw him he waved her off and
she went into the ball room in confusion.
He stood there, staring at her.... her face... her voice had called to
him during the dark months he had no memory. She was thin... to thin.
He noted. He watched her turn toward him and his heart must have
slowed because when she turned toward him he thought he had finally
died and was sent into the heavens.

                                ***

Serena desperately wished to ask the Sailor of Venus about love
and how do you know when to let go, she turned around and when she
opened her sad eyes she saw him.
She closed her eyes and turned away.... she was hallucinating she
had to be. Tears streaming down her face she turned around and
opened her eyes, this time he was directly behind her.
She drew a shaky breath and swallowed hard. Her hands drifted
out, afraid if she touched him he'd disappear.
She stepped toward him and her hand encountered warm flesh
and she puled back as though she'd been scorched. She trued to
speak, tried to convey the thousands of thoughts that ran through her
mind. "Endymoin..." she whispered, falling forward when she reached
for him.
He caught her in his arms and they both sobbed from relief and
the pain they'd felt for over two years. They both dropped to the
ground, holding each other. "Serena..." he whispered, and she looked
up at him.
"Please don't leave me, I don't want to wake up.... tell me I can
sleep forever!" She begged him.
"Serena, it isn't a dream.... I'm real, I promise you I've fought hell
to come back and I won't leave you again."
"I knew they were wrong." She sobbed.
He tilted her face up and rested his forehead against hers, staring
into her eyes. He felt her relax as reality finally filled her being.
He kissed her and in moments, her battle with pain had ended. In
his arms, for the first time in months, she slept, no longer haunted by her
memories.

(Future, Crystal Tokyo)
Endymoin went directly to the thrown room and approached the
crystal which encased his wife and he began to speak to her,
remembering once that Mercury told him if he spoke to her it could
help her hold on.
"Do you remember my love? Back on the Moon, when I finally
made my way to you after the long time they thought I was dead, you
were the only one who believed I was alive?" He asked as he begain to
speaking to her.

                                ***

(Present, Tokyo)
Serena rolled over, she could still feel Endymoin near her, her
mind and should called for him to come back, but her heart, no matter
the pain, knew he wouldn't be returning to her.
Before opening her eyes she stretched her entire body and
yawned. Through her have closed blinds the sun danced across her
closed eyes. Outside she could hear birds chirping and kids playing.
When she opened her eyes she almost screamed. It was ten already! In
less than an hour she would be on a jet heading across the Pacific.
She bolted out of bed and flew through the house and into the
bathroom.
Serena hurry up! Mr. Wayne will be here within the hour, you
have to be ready!
"HOW COULD YOU LET ME SLEEP SO LONG!!!" She
demanded as right before she screamed "Ca-OOOOOOLD!!!" at the
top of her lungs.
Serena's mother didn't argue. After years of this same action
every morning she knew that arguing with her daughter would be
useless. Instead she retrieved her daughter and her nieces bags from
their rooms and placed them in the hall.
Serena was out of the bathroom in a record breaking two-and-a-
half minutes, her hair up already running through the house searching for
odds and ends she wasn't sure if she had packed or not.
Finally about ten minutes down to the wire she realized she was
forgetting something very important. "Luna!" She exclaimed, running
through the house again calling for her cat.
        "Mom have you seen Luna?"
"No dear... is she outside?" Her mother asked.
Serena ran down stairs, nearly knocking Rini over and flung the
door open to find Luna sitting there, and an old man who was
obviously about to knock.
"Luna! Where have you been!" Serena squealed pulling the cat
into her arms and almost shutting the door until she realized that man
was there.
"Can I help you?" Serena asked, scratching Luna behind the ears.
"Your car madam." The man said in well practiced Japaneese.
"Oh! The car!" She looked momentarily at the large limo before
coming to her senses. Serena said. "Your Mr. Wayne?" She crumpled
her nose and the old man made a strange sound.
"No, I'm Mr. Pennyworth, the driver."
"Ohh." Serena said to him. She then turned around and called for
Rini and the pink haired munchkin bounded down the stairs toward her.
"Ready Serena?" She asked, and Serena told her it was time to
go.
Her mom and dad assisted Mr. Pennyworth with the bags,
despite the fact he said he had everything under control.
"Now Serena, remember to eat all your vegetables...."
"Don't worry, I'll be fine, and so will Flamingo Head." Serena
giggled.
"Be nice to your cousin Serena." Her dad snapped on instinct.
"Ladies." Mr. Pennyworth said opening the door and hustling the
two girls inside.
Serena and Rini waved back until they had turned the corner
some three blocks away.
"Serena?" Rini asked crawling next to her blonde companion.
        "Yeah Rini?"
"Do you think we'll find my mom in the states?"
"Rini, if I had anything to do with it, we'd have your mom with you
right now........"

                                ***

(Two days later, Wayne Manor)
"So, Serena, how are you and your cousin adjusting to life here?"
Alfred asked.
Alfred explained to Serena and Rini that he had hated being called
Mr. Pennyworth cause it made him feel old. he had gotten a giggle out
of Serena and Rini.
For the past two days the pair had been struggling to adjust with
the time difference. It was strange, it was noon and it still felt to them
like mid-night.
"As good as can be expected..." Serena yawned answering him in
English. It had shocked her, once they started using English she was
better than she ever was in English class, must have something to do
with one of her powers.
"Master Dick and Master Bruce will be returning from business
tomorrow. You have yet to meet master Dick...."
"When am I gonna see Vessa?" Serena interrupted.
That was the problem. Mr. Wayne had mysteriously disappeared
while they were refueling in California and Serena had yet to see her
aunt, and things were well.... to quiet for what she was used to.
"Your Aunt was called on business, she's in France. Now if there
is anything you need?" Alfred asked.
"Actually I'm feeling better and I was wondering if you could take
me to an ice skating rink or something. You don't need to stay, I just
feel kind of cooped up."
Alfred smiled. "Yes, I had promised to show your cousin Central
Park. I believe I could drop you off." He told her, sensing her need to
get out, and her need to be alone.
It didn't take long to convince Rini to go to the park. Mr. Wayne
had promised to take her to the Zoo when he came back but Alfred
thought the park would be a nice place to start.
Soon Serena found herself in front of a building twice the size of
the Ice Palace with twice as many people swarming in and out. Alfred
gave her some money and she walked in, feeling overwhelmed. The
city was so big.... she turned in a circle taking it all in.
She realized people were watching and she quickly made her way
inside.
She stood in line with about a dozen people who were renting
skates and Serena looked at the amount in her pocket, two hundred
dollars! **AND** a note! 'Serena, I'm sure Master Bruce wouldn't
mind, why don't you by a pair of skates of your own....'
Serena shot from the line and into the small outfitters where a
number of people where looking at the skates inside. She smiled at the
number of brands, the different styles and colors. Shrugging off her coat
revealing a simply blue outfit, perfect for comfortable skating Serena sat
down and looked at the stack of boxes next to her.
The skates coast $150 American and were white as fresh snow.
Converting her size to the American scale she pulled out a pair of
sevens and pushed her stocking clad feet inside.
She was shocked to find a perfect fit. She laced them up and
stood on the rubber coated floor, without the guards on them and
hopped twice finding the fit comfortable.
Putting the box aside and placing on her skates the blade guards.
She thought that the were pefect. Inside the box she crammed her
jacket and sneakers and went to the counter where she was being
watched strangely.
She smiled radiantly handing the man exactly $150 and then
watched him ring up the price and gave him another twenty. American
sales tax, something she hadn't counted on.
Quietly leaving, as silent as she came, her covered skates clicking
against the floor as she walked toward the entrance and paid her five
dollar skating fee before moving on to the lockers.
After a second or two of reassuring herself she had everything
when she put it in. She added the guards for her skates and sealed the
thing and turned the key. With a smile she headed towards the ice.
It had been so long. She hadn't skated since she was in the ice
palace fighting the demons that the Negaverse had made out of Sasha
and Misha.
Obviously not from around her, she stuck out like a soar thumb
against the crowd, but it didn't matter to her. Instead she made her way
onto the ice clumsily.
There were a few laughs around her as she made her way around,
shaky as a leaf.
After over a dozen falls she had finally adjusted herself to the ice
once again and glided across it's surface with grace.
A few of the bows that had laughed at her watched her, confused.
One of them skated up behind and fell into pace beside her. "Hi." He
said, a little shy.
"Konichiwa." Serena said matching his quiet tone. "Is there a
reason you whisper?" She asked, her heavily accented English strange
to him. She looked like an American, her blonde hair, but she wasn't an
American.
        "Your Japanese!" He exclaimed.
"Hai! My parents moved me here because the droid attacks were
getting more frequent again and they thought it would be safer for me
and my cousin Rini here."
"Your cousin?" He asked, suddenly feeling very comfortable with
this strange blonde girl, who he was supposed to trip her but he felt
drawn to her.
"Yes, a little fla... sorry pink haired girl, her hair up like mine but a
little pointy."
        "Pink?"
"Can't chose your family." Serena giggled turning suddenly and
gliding backwards, looking at him. He was cute.
"Oh... so how long you been here?" He asked, surprised that this
girl could skate backwards.
"Two days, I'm supposed to start school next week, but Alfred
says: 'Master Dick was hoping to take you on your first day..'" She said
mimicking the man's gentle accent.
"Alfred and them are cool, but that place is so big and I'm afraid
to touch anything. Knowing me I'd probably break something."
"Oh. How long you been skating?" He suddenly didn't want to
stop talking to her.
For Serena he felt so familiar. He had these dark brown eyes, but
fiery red hair. He was tall to, and so familiar!
"Actually, the truth is that this s only my second time....." Serena
noticed his friends laughing at her, and suddenly she realized he was
talking to her only because of them. She turned disgusted and skated
off.
She watched them out of the corner of her eye as the mocked
her. "Look at me!" A girl with long black hair taunted. "I'm Sailor
Moon... like her!" Twisting her hair up into brief balls and making like
she was falling flat on her face.
Finding that the crowd had thinned Serena picked up speed and
lapped three times, passing the black haired girl and her friends.
She felt her speed steady, she glided with out taking a step and
then turned backward for half of a pass and stepped into a double toe
loop.
Everyone had their eyes on her and applauded when she landed
cleanly.
She came to a stop awashing them with ice. "Sailor Moon, you
wish. I have been saved by Sailor Moon adn the Sailor Scouts several
times throughout the years, and you are no Sailor Moon, more like
Sailor Failures." Serena turned away from them and enjoyed the
strange American music, twisting and contorting her body to match it's
strange patterns.
Four times she jumped, three were successful, she stepped out of
the double sow cow. She wanted to try a double axle when she felt it.
It was like a cold hand gripping her heart and she suddenly felt so cold.
Her stomach twisted and turned, a deathly wind blew through the rink
and Serena knew it.
It wasn't the Dark Moon or even the Negaverse. She'd only had
been so lucky for it to be Ann and Alan again. This thing that she felt,
she thought to herself as she sped to the exit from the rink and ran
uncomfortably in her skates to the locker she used, this thing makes
Beryl look benign! She felt it, she was in trouble. She knew it was more
powerful than anything they had fought and fighting.
Serena felt deathly afraid and her feelings were represented by her
pale face. She unbound her skates and tied the laces together and slung
them over her shoulder after she slipped her jacket on.
After a few moving steps she had her sneakers on and she was
moving toward the exit of the building in a hurry, not able to shake the
feeling she was being hunted.
She didn't see Alfred and Rini coming toward her, she didn't
come out of her strange fog until she heard Rini yell for her.
        "Serena!"
"Rini..." She whispered in relief and smiled as the pink haired girl
ran toward her.
"How was your day?" Serena asked, trying to push away the
feeling she felt, it was more than a feeling, a premonition of 'Impending
Doom.'
"Fine, I just thought maybe we could go home now cause I'm
tired, so we came to get you."
"It's fine with me." Serena agreed, then turned toward Alfred.
"Thank you so much. You have now idea how important skating is to
me."
The old man smiled then lead them to the waiting limo. It was
going to be something to get used to, she never road in such huge cars
in her life.
The trip back was quick and the whole time Serena stared out the
back at the Gothem City skyline.
"Serena, I want to talk to Sailor Moon." The little girl told her.
        "What's wrong Rini?"
"While I was at the park with Alfred, I suddenly felt so scared. It
wasn't like Rubeus, it was different."
"Rini, your the one with the power to call her, but Remember she
is a very busy lady. I'm sure she'll come when she can." Serena
reassured the little girl and was happy when Rini smiled, it was a
reassurance to her that Rini trusted her.
When they got back to the Manor, Serena followed her inside
and went to her room and yanked out her communicator after she was
sure the door was shut and locked.
"Ray, wake up, it's important." Serena nearly yelled into the
communicator.
"We're awake Serena, and we're all here." Ray said, surprised to
hear from Serena so soon.
"Do you have any idea what it was?" She asked.
        "No, just an awful premonition..."
"Impending doom." Serena finished for her.
"If you ever need me for an emergency beep me three times, it'll
sound like a pager and I'll explain when I start school that my mom and
dad in Japan had me put on one for emergencies cause of the attacks
they'd been having. I'm sure they'd understand if I needed to use the
phone."
"Agreed. Serena, Rubeus is going crazy trying to track Rini down,
you were right to take her away, some of those things that have been
attacking are awful."
"I gotta go, the longer we talk the more at risk we are, I think that
they may have a surveillance system and I haven't had a chance to
check it out yet."
        "Serena, be careful." Ray whispered.
        "Don't worry I'll be fine."
Serena pocketed her communicator and exited her room and
went in search of Luna. It was when she passed Rini's door she heard
the child crying and it broke her heart. "Moon Crystal power.." Serena
whispered after checking both directions for anyone close by.
The transformation complete Sailor Moon knocked on her door
and didn't get an answer. "Rini..." She called out softly. "Come on
honey, you gotta let me in before anyone sees me...."
        "Who's there... Serena?"
"No." Sailor Moon laughed gently. "You called me and I have
come."
"Sailor Moon!" Rini screamed throwing the door open and
jumping into the Scouts arms.
"Rini, what's wrong?" She asked, carrying the child into the room,
kicking the door closed and sitting on the bed holding her.
"I miss my mommy... and Darian and Ray and Amy and Lita and
Mina. I miss my daddy and I wanna go home. That bad man is gonna
come after me and, and today I felt something so aweful I wanted to
cry."
"Oh Rini.... I want you to tell me about your home." Sailor Moon
whispered.
"I .... what's that noise..... it sounds so... it's getting closer!"
Sailor Moon looked out the window and saw a helicopter.
"It seems your Mr. Wayne is home early. "Sailor Moon turned
sharply to her right and listened intently, "Serenity..." a voice whispered.
"Rini I have to go. I'll come and see you again soon, I promise."
        "Princess Serenity...."
Sailor Moon slipped back inside her room, glad she left the
window open and detransformed. Becoming Serena again she could
hear the voice more clearly.
        "Princess Serenity."
Serena heard the voice but couldn't find it, it was like it was
coming from below her, but what could make that kind of sound? The
chopper got closer and started to drown out the voice.
She wandered and found herself in a strange hall, where it was as
though inside was only torture devices.
"I don't understand." She said when the chopper stopped and the
voice was heard once again. "You call me yet I can't find you, why do
you call me."
        "Princess..... Serenity........."
Upon hearing foot steps she found the voice stopped and she
called out for Luna. "Luna! Here Luna!"
She walked away from the coming people, as if she didn't know
they were there. "Here kitty!" She yelled.
"Here kittykittykitty!" Serena was getting quite upset. All right
furball, where are you. "Luna now!"
The cat came skidding threw the hall and slid to a halt at Serena's
feet and almost started speaking, but Serena hushed her.
"Really Luna, you could get lost in this place!" She said coddling
her cat.
        "Umm.. Serena?" Asked a voice.
She turned around to meet the speaker.
His breath caught audibly as he took in her presence.
Serena meet his eyes and was shocked. She knew him! No
remembered him! It was him, one of them, but why was her memory so
unclear.
......"Serena, I am not your prince. Darian is your Prince. I am the
one who will be your king. Remember my love, The Twelve is your
quest....I know Serena, it is killing us both, but you must find The
Twelve. Your future here and now depends on it!.....
Endymoin! It wasn't a dream and you, standing in front of me, you
are one of them!
        "Who are you..." Serena demanded.
"I'm Dick. So, you are Serena?"
Yes, but who are you really? "Nice to meet you. This is my cat
Luna."
"Hello Luna." Dick greeted, scratching the cat on the head.
Think Serena think! Who is he? Earth... no. Water, uh-uh... Fire?
Solaris? SOLARIS!
        "Princess Serenity..."
Serena jumped and Dick watched her. The whole time he'd been
there that voice cried out for Serenity, but only he and Bruce were ever
able to here it, yet it shocks her when she hears it. Why?
Luna bit Serena and Serena jumped. "Dick, I'm kinda lost, this
place is so huge, umm... could you point me toward my room?"
"Sure down a floor," he said pointing to a set of stairs, "and to
your right, you should be familiar with the area by then."
        "Thanks!" Serena took off.
"Princess Serenity!" The voice yelled more insistent.
"LEAVE ME!" She hissed under her breath.
"Princess Serenity..." It called out in defeat.
"Luna can you hear it?" Serena asked sitting on her bed.
"Here what?" That Lunarian asked her.
        "Princess Serenity..."
        "Who are you?" Serena asked.
"Serena I don't hear anything, but I've found the strangest place.
It's a cave and it has a huge computer... it reminds me of Central
Control but as a much more sophisticated programming. So much
bigger to, and it is just as old, older, it appears to have survived the
Silver Millennia!"
"What?" Serena asked, "Luna are you sure?" The black cat
nodded. "Can you show me?"
        "Of course, fallow me."
Serena followed her cat and dozens of things were on her mind.
The Twelve, School, the scouts, Rini, Endymoin.....
        "We're here."
        "Princess Serenity...." The voice called.
"It's coming from down there." Serena told her cat pointing down.
The cat went to a strange casket and nudged it open and lo and behold
a stair way.
"Serena they're ancient. they have to be from the Millennia. "So
much is similar to the old Earth Palace. I think it may be the ruins. If
you notice the walls are crystalline, like the old crystal palace, and there
looks as though there had been a disaster. Parts of the floor have caved
in."
As they made there way Serena hushed her cat. Soon she could
hear voices and was wondering if theirs had carried to the ones inside.
Obviously someone went through a lot of trouble to hide this place.
She peered down around the corner into the cavern. This place
was so familiar. Serena glanced across the cavern and saw the huge
computer and the tele-pad, with a car on it.
"Princess Serenity!" The computer suddenly yelled springing to
life. It was the same voice that had been calling to her. "Welcome
Princess Serenity, advisor Luna, to Crystal Keeps."
"Huh? Bruce what's going on?" Dick asked as he and Bruce
began struggling with the computer.
"Socrates!" Serena finally screamed. "Oh, my dear Socrates, I
knew it in my heart! You survived the Cataclysm!"
"SERENA! What are you doing in here! how did you get in here!"
Serena ignored them and ran to the computer and nearly hugged
it's monitor. "Oh Socrates! It's been ages!"
"Welcome back Moon Child." The computer said. "I knew one
day you'd come back to us."
"Socrates do you know about beryl? We defeated her!"
"You and your Sailor Scouts, I have been aware."
"Serena I don't know how you got down here but you need to
go." Dick yelled, Bruce was obviously angry.
"Would you kindly shut up!" Luna demanded. "Can't you see
she's trying to communicate with the Terran Net!"
        "Who..."
"Socrates, please, tell me about The Twelve?" Serena asked.
Socrates searched his memory and put together a narrated near
movie. "Of course Princess Serenity......

Many millennia ago, before life even existed in the universe,
according to legend, the gods and goddesses ruled. Among them were
twelve gods and twelve goddess making up The Serene. That's what
they called themselves.
Yet, do not allow their station to fool you for the still answered to
those higher than them.
Each god was paired with, and in love with a goddess, and they
wished to use their love to create life.
Each pair created a being which became known as mortal. This
mortals were humanoid and it was they who spread life across the
universe.
Like all things, even a universe of wondrous life under the rule of
the children of The Serene, evil reared it's head. To The Serene's
horror their mortal children were wiped from the universe in a vast
cataclysm, which nearly striped the universe of all life accept for in two
solar systems.
The cataclysm was known as Reign of Vortex. Lord Vortex, a
mad, power hungry male entity struck out to destroy the world.
Through time members of The Serene's children, now called the
Twelve by the living, were born sometimes in groups at the same time
and sometimes alone, and faced the evil Reign of Vortex.
The sentinels sent by the Lord Vortex were strong but always The
twelve would battle it, and drive it away successfully.
Until recent years it was believed that Lord Vortex had been
completely destroyed for his kind never again reared their way in this
system. Unfortunately evidence proves the contrary. In order to
prevent another Cataclysm and the successful advance of Vortex, the
twelve must be found and restored. If all twelve of them are restored in
time, Lord Vortex and his kind can be destroyed forever and a new
millennia can begin.
During the Silver millennia one of Lord vortex's greatest creations,
the Negaforce, turned traitor to it and set apart from the Lord to claim
the universe as it's own. During this time a number of The twelve had
been alive; Time, Life, Death, Justice, Fire, Earth, Water and Soul.
Time was, and always will be represented by Pluto, Guardian of
Time.
Life was represented by a young an innocent Princess of the
Moon, named Serenity who loved all. Life died following her love
Justice into death. Justice was the Prince of Earth, Endymoin.
Death was and always will be represented by Saturn, the young
Sailor who had the power to destroy an entire world, but always kept
her temper, and gentle nature in check. Within Death was the power of
healing, it was her strength that helped the Silver Millennia last in it's
battle.
Earth was represented by the father of Justice, King Edrick.
Edrick and the his Queen Allia, who was Water, raised their child
Justice together in a world of love.
Fire was represented by a young man known as Solaris to the
people.....
Dick walked up to the screen, Bruce stayed behind staring at the
paintings of those which had appeared, he was one of them!
Finally the Soul of the universe was represented by the Guardian
of the Silver Crystal and the Queen of the Moon, Queen Serenity.
It is also believed that they all are alive now, including the other
four. According to legend, should there be a time when The Twelve
once again lived, that Lord Vortex would strike and attempt again to
control the universe......

"Socrates, seeing the images you've shown me and from my own
memory the other four were Soul, Hope, Plasma and Vapor, correct?"
        "Yes Princess Serenity."
"If the legend is true, then we have a great battle ahead, that
feeling, could it have been Lord Vortex?" Serena asked.
"Princess Serenity, I have picked up traces of Lord Vortex, I
believe he has escaped his prison and will begin his quest for the
universe at any time."
"The other planets, is it possible that any have surveyed the dark
age. Can you try to reach the respective networks?" Luna asked.
"I'm sorry Luna but for over a millennia I have tried, there has
been no answer...."
Serena started reeling in the possibilities. "My mother is alive."
She whispered, not knowing to be afraid or relieved.
"Rabbit?" Bruce called to her, but his tone was different. She
recognized the one who had been her father since hers parished.
"Edrick!" Serena turned and ran into his arms and sobbed, the
emergency forgotten accept for Luna who paced back and forth on
Socrates panel.
"That's it I have to have my Scouts here now! I don't care what
you have to do get them here!" Luna suddenly burst out.
Serena looked as though she had been killed.
"No anything but them, please Luna, I can't!" Serena cried. "You
have no idea what they've..."
"Serena it doesn't matter what they've done. We need them here.
If I remember the last time Lord Vortex had an obsession with you
thousands of times greater than Beryl's with Darian. I can not leave you
unprotected."
Bruce pushed Serena an arms length away, his hands resting on
her shoulders. Serena had been suffering from mild overload, but Bruce
and Dick were suffering severely.
"My son is alive!" He roared, lightly shaking her. "Where is he
Serena, please!"
"He's at home in Japan." Serena whispered. "He and the Scouts
are at home in Japan."
"I have to get them all here. It is obvious that it is important to
your safety, besides, I know my son, he couldn't bare to be apart from
you longer than necessary...."
Serena dropped to her knees and started bawling, "No anything
but him!"
Dick and Bruce stared at her as though she'd suddenly become
Queen Beryl.
"Serena what is wrong with you!" Dick said lifting her from the
ground and pulling her into his arms. He had been an adopted brother
when his world had been destroyed.
"Please Solaris, don't make me, he hates me, he doesn't love me
anymore, I can't stand to be near him, it hurts so much...."
Dick looked at Bruce and Bruce looked at him as Alfred came
rushing in. "I'm sorry sir, but your being paged."
        "Not now!" Bruce yelled.
        "Sir not that pager!"
"Damn." He turned to Dick and told Alfred to take her back up.
Serena suddenly froze, her body feeling like lead. "He's
attacking." She whispered, her voice mad with fear.
"Get a grip on yourself Serena!" Luna yelled.
"Luna he's attacking! The people! I can feel it!" The sign of Life
appeared above her crescent moon, a single star. "There so afraid!"
She gripped her head remembering in her past life a dull ache but
never throbbing pain like this.
"Serena listen to me. You're awakening as one of The Twelve.
Your perception and sensory skills has been enhanced to your cause,
which is life. Now life, mortal life, is experiencing fear near you, you
must calm yourself and gain control of your emotions." Luna whispered
to her.
"Now stand Serena, you must remember who you are. Your a
Sailor Moon, Serena, Princess Serenity and above all else Life! The
light which will bring to the people Justice and Hope!"
Serena's eyes went dull and she stood before those present, tears
racing down her face as the fear and anger of her people rose. She
closed her eyes and there was a flash of white. "Moon Crystal Power!"
She yelled transforming into Sailor Moon.
"Eternal Life Power!" She screamed throwing her fists into the air.
Her hair blew behind her as her uniform shifted around her body
making way for a bodice made of an armor which was shaped like ivy.
Her transformation broach lifted from her body and spun twice in the
air before fastening over her navel, it's design altered slightly as it made
room for the Life Crystal which didn't appear.
The golden ivy accented the white skirt she wore. Over it
appeared her sailor suite which was a translucent silver. Her gloves and
boots now silver and gold.
Her hair unbound and would itself into a crown once around her
head before forming her traditional meat balls and allowing the ends to
cascade down to her sides.
When she opened her eyes the were brighter than ever. her eyes
reflecting the pain of her people.
        "Sailor Moon...." Luna gasped.
"No longer Luna. I am now the Soldier of Eternal Life, Eternal
Moon." She turned around and faced Socrates and a translucent cape
fitted across her shoulders. It seemed to be made by light of the Moon,
dancing around her shoulders and protecting her. "Socrates, the time
has come, below, buried deep within Crystal Keeps, there is a
chamber, In that chamber are the crystals of The Twelve."
"Yes princess, and a staff, awaiting you. You must lead The
Twelve in your mother's absence, but the way into the chamber has
long since been destroyed....."
"Serena your not serious, you can't fight them now." Edrick, no
Bruce, told her. "In your mother's absence I forbid you to go. You
haven't been trained, we don't know if you can handle it. I remember in
the past..."
"What you remember is of a person who's memories live inside
me, but I am no longer that person. I stood alone and faced Beryl after
the which destroyed the scouts and your son. I stood there alone in the
Arctic and summoned their spirits and fought her. I destroyed Beryl
and the Negaforce that day, and that day, Serenity as you knew her
ceased to exist."
Bruce didn't look like Bruce when she turned around and Dick
most definitely did not look like Dick, he looked a little shocked behind
the mask.
"I should have guessed. Two urban legends meet face to face."
Eternal Moon said boldly.
"In my mother's absence you may be my guardian, yet in my
mother's absence I must assume her position. It is good you remain in
that form, the people will recognize you that way, but when I salvage
the crystals you may wish to assume your other form."
Serena put up a false front as Eternal Moon. Her fragile nature
appearing falsely strong.
"I have been all that was left of the Moon, serving my mother's
spirit and now I know she lives, but she is sleeping, just like you were
only moments ago, I must be strong, he was right, the future depends
on me. I have already found four of us, alive and strong, there are
others, they must be found to before it's too late."
"Princess, if they remove their vehicle I may be able to use the
tele-pad to get you down there."
        "Wait!"
"Batman is it in this form... the others, Luna is right they need to
be here. Can you bring them here as you've brought me, but like make
some sort of program an exchange even?"
He nodded. "I'll join you shortly. I'll speak with them, maybe bring
them here, but not this night, there is another I must seek before I may
aid you."
They left and she watched as they went. "Tonight the darkness
once begins to surround my planet, once again I shall free it, in the
name of the Moon."
It was times like this that Luna was especially proud of Serena.
Right now her whole world was turned upside down and she stood
fast, ready to face it. It actually in a way made Luna kind of sad,
Serena was growing up, turning into the lady she was going to become
someday, and it was happening faster than she was prepared for.
"Serena, I want to tell you how proud of you I am, your mother
will be proud of you when we find her."
        "I hope so Luna."
"Alfred, watch Rini, she doesn't know, and she shouldn't know"
She spoke as she walked across the thin bridge to the tele-pad.
"Socrates, when your ready." She yelled.
Within seconds she was filled with warmth and the world bursted
into a rainbow of color, she squeezed her eyes shut.
Seconds later the sensation had ended and Eternal found herself in
a sealed cavern. On the walls were the symbols of each of The Twelve.
Under each symbol was a pedestal with a stone on it.
She scanned the room before walking to hers and placing it with
the Emperial Silver Crystal. It filled her with a strength she hadn't felt
before, she knew she'd need it.
The staff which rested in the hands of a statue of the Goddess of
the Moon glowed as Eternal Moon approached.
She looked at it and realized she would gather it last. Walking
around the room carefully and silently she gathered the other eleven
stones, one at a time and returned it to the staff and placed it in it's
holding place where it would would be connected until she or her
mother gifted one of the others with their crystal.
When Eternal Moon placed the Soul Stone at the crown of the
staff it became alive, humming with power which would aid her for a
time in the battles to come.
"My people will be free again, I swear it in the name of the
Moon." She said taking it into her hands.
She waited there and in a few moments she found herself back on
the tele-pad.
"Socrates I have to go to Japan for awhile, I need to take Luna
with me. I know I can do it on my own but I don't want to use the
energy which should be reserved for battle."
"Princess before I send you to Japan you should cloak yourself."
"I'll be all right Soc, you needn't worry, I'll take to the roof tops."
She giggled, needing to laugh. "Come on Luna."
In seconds Luna was standing next to her at her feet and she was
leaning casually onto the staff inside Batman and Robin's Batcave which
was also known as Crystal Keep, then she found herself back in Japan,
in the park, ironically on the dock she found Rini.
"Luna, I have to talk to him, I have so much to explain, but you
need to help me. I can't let my heart get in the way."
"If you wait long enough Princess, he will come through on his
own."
"Luna don't call me that. How about Eternal, it makes me feel less
I don't know, just the Princess thing gets really old."
"I just feel that while your in this form..."
"I know Luna, but Socrates reminds me enough of my heritage, I
need to be a normal, well not so normal mortal...... besides this is
neither the place to discuss anything with him or to disclose information
about his family. Come on, we should go to his apartment."
"Don't you think you should see the others while your here." Luna
didn't ask, almost commanded.
"Luna, no. I won't. I have to stand on my own enough as it is, I
don't need them alienating me anymore, or patronizing me. I will go to
them when things are ready for them to be with us."
"Eternal, you'll want to be going, now if you don't want to make a
scene."
"Your right, people are looking at me enough as it is." She and
Luna left the park and took to the roof tops heading toward the high
rise he lived in.
When she arrived it was a long wait for him come and she knew
it. While she was there she noticed that things had gone kinda messy.
She stepped into his room and saw a lot of laundry on the floor and
picked up one of his shirts. She wasn't obsessed or anything but it felt
like him and smelled like him! She stuffed it into her space pocket. He
had three others exactly like it, he wouldn't know it was gone.
After her little exploration she noticed the roses were even
neglected. How could he! The poor dears need water, so she watered
them, but the strangest thing happened when she touched them... the
flared to life again!
Eternal Moon sat and pulled her broach out and fingered the Life
Stone. How ironic it was made of Moon Stone and filled with Life.
"Serena!" Darian yelled after he had come in and saw her. He
 looked awful.
"Darian." She said jumping to her feet and putting the broach back
in it's place. When she looked at him it took her by surprised, he
looked awful. She swallowed to keep from crying, why wouldn't he let
her love him?
"What are you doing here?" His voice was hoarse.
"Darian, things are changing, you need to come with me." She felt
chilled to her bones. "You need to come with me now! Please!" She
begged him. They needed him to fight now.
"Serena I can't go with you, I don't love you anymore." He
insisted. "You have to go."
Tears ran down her face. "Don't you understand this is beyond
you and me! Your fa-"
"You have to leave now Serena." He grabbed her by the arm and
lead her to the door when he noticed the change in her. He had been so
relieved with her presence he didn't notice. She looked so beautiful to
him.
        "Darian your fa-"
        "GO!" He roared.
She stood there as he opened the door and pulled from the staff a
blue stone which reflected green when light shone on it.
"Whoever said justice was blind was right cause your blinder than
hell." She hissed below her breath and he heard her.
        "What?" He asked.
She handed the stone to him and turned on her heals. "Luna..." the
cat went to her side.
"Darian, Edrick and Allia are alive, come with me Darian, let me
take you to him."
        "Your lying my family...."
"No Darian not your family from this life. Just like my mother is
out there somewhere sleeping so is yours, but your father is already
awake.
"What you hold is the stone of Justice. You once were just plain
justice and I was only Life, that was a happy time so long ago that
neither of us remembers. "She started out slow but she felt things
becoming more urgent. Edrick and Solaris, no matter what you called
them in this life be it Dick and Bruce or Batman and Robin needed their
crystals soon before Lord Vortex's sentinels destroyed them.
Her voice grew in urgency again. "Please Darian, we have to go
now!"
He concentrated on the stone and became Endymoin, she cried,
her tears streaked down her face and she turned from him, no longer
able to watch him.
"Eternal Justice Power," he whispered, not sure of what was to
come. He was surrounded by a bouble of steel and it washed over him,
coating him in nearly impenetrable steel.
She turned back to him and wanted more than anything for him
just to hold her, to be her strength. For now they were only Justice and
Life, two beings which loved each other more than life, but one would
deny it even though he knew he shouldn't.
        "I'm ready Serena."
"I am no longer Serena, I am Eternal...." her words were clear
and cold, and they shocked him. "In this form I can not allow my
carefree self to exist not now with Lord Vortex on the rampage." She
held her hands to him and Luna stood between them.
The cat kept thinking how blind Darian had to be, the love
radiating from the two was enough to create another star system .
He hesitated but he knew it was necessary for them to touch. His
hands closed around hers and she closed her eyes, tears running once
again down her pale face.
She concentrated hard on Socrates, calling to the sentient
computer which had called to her for hours telepathically before she
found him.
"Princess Serenity..." It called out and the tele-pad was activated
in Crystal Keep and the flashed there in meer seconds were a pair of
The Twelve.
"If you would Socrates, lock on Edrick."
About a minute later they found themselves on top of a building
and below Batman and Robin battled a Sentinel with the Gothem
Police Force. Sadly she knew they weren't faring well.
Eternal Moon detached herself from Justice with regret before
going over the edge and landing amidst the battle behind the gunfire.
"Batman! Look out!" She yelled noticing it was powering up.
"Hello Sentinel." She yelled leaping in front of the line of officers.
"Come I know I'm the one you want, not these silly humans." She
taunted, leaning playfully on the staff.
Justice came up behind her, "Eternal what in the name of the
Moon are you doing!"
"Justice stay out of this, get the human's out of here, I'll hold it off."
It fired a beam of sick green energy toward Batman and she stepped
into it's path dropping the staff.
She crossed her arms in front of her taking the attach full.
"Get your Crystals then give me the staff!" She whispered.
"Eternal Moon Beam!" She yelled thrusting her hands forward and
giving it a steady beam of energy. The beam was strong but was only
enough to distract it.
"Got 'em." Robin told her taking the stone which looked like solid
fire even though it appeared to be burning and handing a brown/black
stone to Batman.
        "Now what?" Robin asked.
"Give me the staff and get them out of here. Then find a place to
transform.
The staff once again in her hands she concentrated the powers of
both her crystals into it.......
"Foolish girl!" The sentinel cried, it's voice belonging to Vortex.
"You can not win against me. You will be mine as will as your puny
world!"
The Sentinel stunned her and she went down clutching the staff
with a high pitched scream.

                                ***

"Eternal Moon!" Justice cried leaping down between the Sentinel
and her. He was shocked, the Sentinel had stunned her by Vortex's
order so she wouldn't get hurt. It was all crazy.
"Justice get her out of there!" Luna yelled.
Justice scooped her into his arms and joined Luna atop the
building and Luna pawed Eternal's side searching for her
communicator.
Successfully finding it in the girls Lunar pocket she sent Justice
back into battle.
She pushed the buttons for Venus, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter.
"Scouts rally we're in trouble!" Luna yelled into the thing. Eternal
stirred and pushed herself onto all fours. "That thing is toast!" She
yelled shaking her head to clear it.
Eternal Moon returned to the battle firing small blasts of her Moon
Beam. The stun did a number on her, taking a lot of her energy.
Finally after a few minutes the officers were cleared and minutes
later Eternal Moon heard a sound which at the time would be music to
her ears.
"Hold it nega-trash!" Four female voices yelled. "We are the
Sailor Scouts, Champions of Justice! On behalf of the Universe we will
right wrongs and triumph over evil, that means you!"
"Venus Love Shock!" Sailor Venus fired as the scouts jumped
down into the battle.
        "Sailor Scouts!" Eternal Moon exclaimed.
"Sailor Moon?" They all asked at once. Mars shook her head to
clear in. "Everyone down!" She yelled.
"Mars Inferno!" She yelled as everyone dove for cover.
"BLAZE!" The wall of flame threw the Sentinel back and did a good
amount of damage.
"Staff of the Moon, forged by it's goddess nearly lost in time...."
Serena began whispering a prayer, suddenly she jumped up, "My
friends, lend me your powers..." she whispered.
        "Mercury Tsunami!"
        "Venus Love!"
        "Jupiter Storm!"
        "Mars Inferno!"
        "Justice Trial!"
The power of water from the planet Mercury flowed into her staff
followed by the fire of Mars, love of Venus, storms of Jupiter, and the
strength of Justice which will try and convict one of evil.
"Moon Life Energy.." Eternal Moon whispered praying for
strength. "BIND!" She screamed suddenly, molding the powers into
one and hurling it at the creature which screamed before it was turned
to ash.
Eternal dropped to her knees, clutching her chest trying to catch
her breath, her body sore from battle, her muscles aching from being
held so tense to support her.
"Sailor Moon, what happened to you?" Venus asked afraid for
her friend.
"Changes Venus. I am Life, one of The Twelve. There is so much
I need to explain, not nearly enough time, I'm so tired, that stun took
more out of me than I anticipated."
Just when Justice would have gone to help her up Robin dropped
in. "I'll take her home. I suggest that that's where all of you are headed."
"Robin." She smiled, her friend, one she could truly count on.
"Wait!" Mars yelled. "I demand to know what's going on, your
obviously keeping something from us!"
"Not now Mars," Eternal mumbled under her breath. "Luna!" She
called her cat.
"Sailor Mars, I believe that this is nether the time nor the place."
Robin answered.
"All will be revealed in good time." Luna reassured.
"Robin, I can get back on my own, Soc will bring me back." She
whispered, "besides I have to make sure they go home."
Robin would have left but he told her first to make sure she
brought 'him' with her. Of course she grimaced.
"Meet in the Keep in twenty minutes." Eternal whispered into his
ear and he nodded and took off to join Batman.
"Now I suggest you go Sailor Scouts." Eternal said coldly,
returning to her position of anger to them.
"Let's go Darian." Mina called softly.
"No, he stays." Eternal snapped angrily, but quickly amended
herself. "For now."
She watched the Scouts circle up and Artemis joined them. It was
visible he was angry at Luna and the Scouts were most definitely angry
with Eternal.
When the whispered their words and disappeared, Eternal called
out once again for Socrates. Within moments she realized he was ready
and once again reached for Justice's hands and they flashed into Crystal
Keep.
"Welcome home Prince Endymoin." Eternal said coolly.
"What's wrong with you!" He immediately demanded. "Since
when were you so cold to your friends! Since when were you-"
"When they betrayed me and when I had a mean doss of reality.
Look, your not here cause I want you to be, but right now he wants to
see you and I'm not about to stop him!"
"Who is he anyway, you mentioned my father. Where is he!"
"Eternal, thank goodness you have returned." Alfred called rushing
down. "Rini woke up and she was terribly afraid of something called
Rubeus and Vortex."
Eternal Moon concentrated on her Life Stone and turned toward
Alfred. "Make sure he stays put and doesn't touch anything!"
Serena was visibly shaken, her whole body shook and her hurried
steps were clumsy, she stumbled on her way up.
"Serena come back here now!" She could here Justice yelling but
she ignored him.
It took her a few wrong turns to get her barring in the huge manor
before she found Rini in the main sitting room in front of the fire crying.
"Rini!" Serena yelled and the tiny girl ran to her.
"Serena?" She sobbed then ran to her and sobbed against her
chest.
"Rini what happened, was it a bad dream?" She asked.
"Now, I felt it, it was after me again and so was the bad man and
I was so scared. I don't want them to get me."
"I won't let them get you, I promise." She whispered brushing the
hair out of the girl's face.
"How can you promise?" She asked.
"Because Rini, they're after me to now, we'll have to stick
together so that we stay safe."
"What about Sailor Moon? Will she protect you too?"
"Something tells me she will Rini." Serena whispered. "Do you
want to sleep in my bed tonight?" Serena asked her and the little girl
nodded. It had been a habit she sleep with Serena when she was afraid
or sad.
"Okay, we'll go tuck you in-"
"Your not coming with me?" Rini asked.
"Yes, I am but there's a few things I have to do before I go to bed
yet. I'm filling out stuff for my new school, and it is well past your bed
time and you need some real sleep."
"Okay." They walked together hand in hand until they found the
huge room opposite Rini's which belonged to Serena. Serena tucked
the little girl in and promised her she'd be back as soon as she was
done.
"Night Rini." She whispered as she slipped out the door and
hurried back through the halls.
By the time she was back in the Keep they were returning and
Serena took a seat next to Socrates and completely ignored Justice
who had transformed back into Darian.
"Serena, you brought him." Batman said looking at the man that
stood silently watching over Serena's shoulder as she typed away on
the huge panel. It was a surprise to them all, Amy, Sailor Mercury was
the computer person.
"Yes I brought him, against my own judgment, but I knew he had
to be here." She said.
"Darian is it." Batman said and Serena heard a rustle of clothe, the
were unsuiting as well.
"May I please be excused?" Serena asked. "I'm tired and
tomorrow proves a long day." Serena asked softly.
"Of course Serena, what I have to say is for him and him alone.
Dick why don't you escort her and the cat out."
Serena disappeared with a man Darian had never seen carrying
Luna.
She was silent company as the climbed the stairs into the Manor.
She immediately left him to go back to Rini. Exhausted beyond belief
she slipped into the bed and Rini instantly curled into her, moments
later, before her head hit the pillow she was asleep.

                                ***

"So, your the cause of her troubles." The man said approaching
Socrates. "I see you and her aren't on speaking terms."
        "Who are you?"
"I'm Bruce Wayne, the only reason you know that is because I
know you well enough to know you can keep a secret."
"You don't even know who I am." Darian told him.
"I'm sure we would be more comfortable in the study. Come."
Darian followed. So this was the man who'd taken in Rini and
Serena. Why did this man seem so familiar to him?
They settled into his study and sat in silence. "Darian like you I
was alive during the old millennia, not only one of The Twelve like you
but as Edrick of Earth."
Darian sat in silence. "I ruled the planet with my wife Allia who
was also one of The Twelve, Water. When water and Earth were
joined together they gave birth to Justice. You."
Darian eyed him and they both realized that this was not the type
of reunion either pictured.
"So your my father." He said.
"And as your father I want to know why you torture that girl as
you do. I can see it in your eyes that you love her, why must you insist
on your mutual suffering by staying away from her." Bruce demanded.
"There is a secret that I've kept from her. Since the defeat of the
Aliens I have had horrible visions of her death. Always a voice told me
to stay away from her or she would die. I know that that voice was
right-"
        "How?"
"Because it was me. I suppose she hasn't explained to you the
deal with Rubeus, but right now Serena doesn't know she sits holding
our daughter-"
        "Your daughter?"
"He said she had to find out on her own. That is one reason I stay
away-"
"You can't escape the future Darian. If she is destined to die she
will die. You need her like you need air and t is the same with her. You
need each other to survive."
Darian listened, his father had always been wise.
"I remember a girl who on a number of occasions tried to kill
herself to join you in death during a period where you were lost to us. I
also remember a girl who committed suicide, following you blindly into
death.
"Now she puts up false front, hiding behind a mask of strength
because she feels she was betrayed not only by you but by your scouts
as well. My son, I promise you that if you go to her, your lives will
work out and there will no longer be such pain in your life."
"And I will, when she learns the truth about Rini. I have to stay
away from her until she discovers the truth."
"If that is your decision, I will honor it. I will also keep this secret
of yours from her."
        "Thank you."
"I'm working on a way to get all the Scouts and here, arranging an
exchange program. That way we can keep an eye on Serena and Rini."
"I think that is the best way to go."
"I also think that you should plan on returning here in a few days
time, we'll need you to help search for the others."
"It will be done." Darian told him.
"Darian I know your worried about her but we have a system that
won't let anything in when it's armed. If Lord Vortex goes after her
we'll stop him."
Darian nodded and excused himself. He found himself back with
Socrates and in moments home, there was so much he had to do... so
little time.
