I wouldn't complain to much. The only anime to run in the U.S. Regulary
were Sailor Moon, which isn't carried by most stations, and speed racer,
wich I don't particularly care for. Thats it, aside from the ocasional show
on cable. To watch anime, we have to rent or buy the tapes, and a lot of
the good ones are not avaliable for rent, and are only avaliable to by at
fairly high prices. Feel lucky that you're even getting anime on tv. You
don't have to put up with the networks here, and they don't even offer us a
compromise. :(
I wish you guy's luck on getting Ranma back on the air, and I hope someday
that it will air here. Preferably without them doing to it, what they do to
most other anime that airs on network TV here. When they do air anime in
the US on tv, they have a tendency to change scripts, and even names of
character. I think it is some twisted form of xenophobia that effect tv
network administators or something.
If any one here in the US disagrees with me, feel free to let me know. If
any one has any Ideas on how to get the networks to listen let me know. The
only one that I know of to even make the attempt is Sci-Fi networ, but that
is cable.
Well I will let you go now.
Ja ne.
