Subject: [FFML] [Fanfic] [SM] Chibimako!!?? Part one (fwd)

This was my first real fic. It's pathetic. If there's enough interest in
it, I'll write an OAV-type fic about Chibimako's life. Nothing more.

Ok, here's my *first* attempt at a posted fic. It's from Sailormoon,
because Ranma fics tend to have to be long. Evantually, I'll post my Ranma
fic in progress, White Day Blues, and THEN you can see my real style. But
here's chapter one of "Chibimako?!" There may be as many as 15 or 20
chapters, but I think I can do this in 10 or so.
Legal stuff:
Sailor Moon characters property of Naoko Takeuchi. I claim no rights to
any. Please don't sue me-I'm poor like most of us.
Chibimako is my property. If you want to use her character, contact me.

Info: This takes place after Sailorstars. Please note that in this fic,
Sailor Saturn not only has the ability to transform, but we SEE (read) her
transformation sequence. I designed all the transformations and powers
from this fic, including Chibimako's. Also these bad guys aren't in the
original series, so don't worry that you've never heard of them. They are
loosely based on the Amazoness Quartet, though. You may notice that
Chibimako shows up similarly to the way Chibusa showed up. The parts where
Chibimako is thinking are in first person, including the first time she
appears, but most of the rest is in third person.

		Chibimako: Chapter One
		"Heaven sent"

"Oh this is great, just great..." Makoto Kino dashed along the
sidewalk, her schoolbag over her head. "I'm gonna be late again!!!" She
stopped at a red light. Makoto sighed. She scanned the street, and spotted
Usagi. "Usagi-chan!!!!" Thepigtailed blonde stopped her mad dash, and looked
across the street. She waved, running across the street, dodging cars."Hey
Mako-chan!!" Usagi stopped in front of her friend, and, grabbing Mako's
arm, picked up speed again. "Missed the alar..." Mako began to say, as
Usagi dragged her along the pavement, but was immediately interrupted by
Usagi. "C'mon Mako! Or we're gonna be late!"
They turned into the courtyard of Juuban High, and Usagi came to
a screeching halt. Mako, who didn't stop quite as fast, went flying
forward, landing in a large bush. She stuck her head out, shocked and
slightly pissed off. "Hey what'd you do that for, Usagi???" Usagi gasped,
and pointed to a steadily approaching object with... green hair??!!!
Makoto gasped, as if remembering something. She gawked. "Masaka..." The
object grew closer and closer to the ground, and landed in a bush. Mako
and Usagi peered into the low bush, the same one Makoto had removed
herself from moments before.

"What....? Where am I?" I looked around. This obviously wasn't
Crystal Tokyo. It was way too...too... green for one thing. I stood up,
and was immediately met by two pairs of eyes, one blue, and one dark
green. I couldn't help it- I screamed. "AHHHHHHHH!!!!" I jumped back about
ten feet, and dropped to a fighting stance, which is what my mother always
taught me to do under these curcumstances. "You looking for a fight?" I
asked the two girls who were staring at me like I was out of some kind of
weird sci-fi anime. One of them, the one with blue eyes and long blonde
pigtails, laughed. "Oh she's so cute." I dropped my fighting stance. "Oh
yeah? Cute? Who you calling cute!" I asked, defensively. The other one
glared at the pigtailed one. "Usagi, stop that!" The pigtailed girl
dropped back, and the other girl smiled. "Hello. What's your name?" I
bowed instinctively, and said, "My name is Chibimako, daughter to
Neo-gueen of Jupiter." The pigtailed one's eyes just about bugged out of
her head, and the other one coughed nervously.

The little girl glared at Usagi and Mako-chan. "What? What's your
problem?" Makoto gathered her thoughts. "Did you just say that you
were...?" Someone interrupted Makoto's sentence. "Usagi-chan, Mako-chan!
You're late. Where have you been?" Makoto turned to face her good friend,
Ami Mizuno. "Oh, hi Ami." Ami smiled, and looked over Makoto's shoulder at
the little girl beyond. "Oh my, who's that?" They both looked at
Chibimako, who stared back.
She couldn't have been more than ten years old, and stood at about
4 feet 6 inches tall, fairly tall for a ten year old. Her dark green hair
contrasted her dark green eyes. She wore a sailor-style school uniform,
with a huge pink bow. In the center of the bow was a small locket shaped
like a star. Dangling from her neck was a chain, with a charm shaped like
a key hanging from it.
Usagi's eyes settled on the key. She turned to Makoto and Ami.
"Mako-chan? Can I talk to you?" Makoto nodded, and they stepped away from
the bush. Usagi lowered her voice. "Mako-chan, does that key look familiar
to you at all?" Makoto peered over her shoulder. "It sure does. It looks
like that key Chibiusa carried around when she first showed up." They
turned back to the bush, and motioned for Ami. Ami glanced at Chibimako,
and reluctantly joined them. "Ami, can you analyse that key with your
computer?" Usagi asked. Ami pulled out her small blue computer, and
pointed it in the direction of Chibimako. Makoto looked at the screen.
"Well? What is it?" Ami sighed, and shook her head. "I don't know. The
readings look similar to what I got when I first met Chibiusa, but....
different, somehow." Usagi looked confused, but nodded in agreement. They
returned to the bush, only to find that Chibimako was gone.

I ran through the low brush, hoping they wouldn't hear me. "Who
were they, some kinda evil creature from beyond the galaxy??" I stopped
once I'd left the enclosed garden. (At least that what I thought it was.
I know now that it was really the courtyard of Juuban High School.) This
was most definately not Crystal Tokyo. People were wlking up and down the
streets, smiling and talking. There was no Crystal Palace, and the
buildings were...Ugh....Brown. And they were boxy. Not at all pretty as
the Crystal buildings we had back home. I looked around at all the people.
They were not from Crystal Tokyo. "Maybe I'm in Crystal Kyoto..." I don't
know if there ever was such a place as Crystal Kyoto, but I was scared,
and reason wasn't going to help me now.
I strolled up and down the streets, finally entering the gates of
a beautiful shrine, called "Fire River," according to the sign. I ascended
the stairs.
Cherry blossoms were everywhere. I shut my eyes, and breathed in
the scent of cherry blossoms in the spring time. I hadn't smelled cherry
blossoms in who-knows how long. A while, certainly. "Can I help you, young
lady?" I opened my eyes and saw an old man standing before me. "Could he
help me to figure out where I am?" I thought. Smiling, I bowed to the old
man. "Excuse me sir, but I can't seem to remember where I am. Could you
tell me?" The old man chuckled. "Oh, dear child, don't you recognise
Juuban when you see it?" I shook my head, trying to think up an excuse.
"I'm not from around here, you see." He nodded in understanding. "You're
in Juuban Prefecture, in the city of Tokyo." I could feel my jaw drop.
"To-tokyo, you say?" He nodded. "Yes." I bowed again, and turned to leave,
when I spotted six girls coming up the stairs. I recognised three of them
instantly as the girls I'd seen before. I spun around to the old man.
"Forgive my asking sir, but do you have a bathroom I could use?" The man
seemed a bit shocked at my request, but pointed me in the direction of the
house building. "Straight through there, on the left." I bowed, and dashed
off, just as the girls reached the top of the stairs.

"So she dissapeered? Just like that?" Rei asked Usagi. Usagi
nodded. "Not even a good-bye, the rotten brat. She reminds me of Chibiusa
more and more by the second," Usagi groaned. Chibiusa whined. "Hey!" Ami
sighed. "Still, it was strange. It's not every day you see a little girl
plummet from the sky." Chibiusa looked up. "Oh, sorry. It about once every
three years something like that happens." Chibusa nodded, obviously
satisfied. Minako looked over at her friend Mako-chan. "Mako-chan, is
something wrong?" Makoto nodded. "That girl...She said she was the
daughter of the Neo-queen of Jupiter, and her name is Chibimako," Makoto
pondered. "So what?" Usagi asked, totally out of it, as usual.
"USAGIIII!!!!" Usagi looked down at her feet at Luna. Luna glared at her.
"Usagi no baka. Makoto is worried this might be her daughter!" Usagi's
mouth opened to a very wide O shape, and nodded. "Oh." Mako sighed. "It's
not that, it's just that...well...."
It was the third time that day that Mako was interrrupted. "Hello
girls!" Rei's grandpa announced with a smile. "Goodbye Grandpa," Rei said,
shooing everyone towards the house, and waving at her grandpa.

I looked around the house. I don't know why I chose to ask about a
bathroom-I guess I just thought that that would be something a little girl
would ask. Plus, I didn't want an encounter like this morning. All I
wanted was to find the Europa stone.
I heard the front door slam, and voices. I looked at my
surroundings. It was a girl's bedroom. I chose the quickest way out, and,
just as the door opened, I leapt under the bed.

Rei pushed open the door to her room, and the girls saw a quick
flash of green. "AAHHHHH!!! WHAT WAS THAT??!!" Usagi hyperventalated.
Mako dropped to a defensive pose, and Chibiusa ducked back behind the
door. Minako inhaled deeply, as if resolved upon something, and said,
"Well, come on you guys. Let's see what it is...." Rei reached down, and
pulled up the side of her sheet.
			To be continued.....

So what do you think of chapter one? It's a little short, but I'm
working on part two REALLY soon, and that will be longer. Just so you
know, my three fave senshi are Pluto, Saturn, and Jupiter. (Duh. REAL
shocker on the last one.) Feedback should be directed either to the ML or
to: miaka-chan@juno.com
