Overall, I think this story has some potential.  I like Self-Insertions /
Otaku
fics, -when- they are done correctly.

You've added an air of mystery to the main character, which is always
a good idea.  However, the mystery is never solved, and the hints that
are provided along the way do not help much.  

The main character doesn't seem to serve a purpose in the Ranmaverse.
A new character has to add value, or cause some sort of distress to
the main cast.  Druid just seems to be lost.  

Now, on to specifics:

(I won't go into grammar, since TJ and Allan have already covered it)

*  Druid's helping Ranma at the Nekohanten seemed like a somewhat 
plausible plot device for getting him into the Tendo Dojo; good.

* Druid suddenly remembers the Ranma cast, why?  You never gave any
indication that he was from the 'real' world. 

* Why did Druid go on that training trip with Ryoga?  Seemed kind of
pointless.

* Very orignial way of dealing with Nodoka, I liked it.

I heard that you had scrapped this story and were starting over.
I've haven't read the Tenchi teaser you sent out yet, but I'll be sure 
to get to it at as soon as I can.
