Earlier today, an idea was sent to the list about having the NA and 
original continuities of Sailor Moon meet.  Of course, there were 
replies that it had happened before, but I'm pretty sure that it 
never happened this way...

     Usagi didn't know what was going on.  On second, she had been 
sound asleep in her bed, dreaming her favorite dream, Mamoru with 
food and then, all of a sudden, Sailor Pluto teleported into her room,
 grabbed her by the arm and dragged her through a Time Portal.

     Naturaly, her first question was, "What's going ooooon?!!!"

     "My appologies," Pluto replied, with a slight sense of urgency 
in her voice, "but there is a matter of which needs your imediate 
attention.  Another version of you is about to do something that her 
world will regret."

     "What are you talking about?  How can there be another version 
of me?"

     +++

     Serena looked at the cars as they raced under the bridge from 
the overpass.  "Perfect," she thought, "With the speed they're going, 
no one will ever notice me until it's too late."

     She stepped over the railing and took a deep breath as she wiped 
away a single tear.

     If things went right, it would be the last tear she ever shed.

     She took a deep breath and prepared to jump.

     "WAIT!"

     The voice that called out made her turn and when she saw who 
rushed towards her, almost lost her ballance.  It was herself... or 
at least someone who looked remarkably similar.

     Usagi, greatful that she had made it in time and also greatful 
that Pluto had cast some sort of spell that allowed the two of them 
to understand each other, rushed over to where her doppleganger was 
perched to end her life.  "You don't," Usagi said, "want to do that?
"

     Serena blinked at this strange woman and asked, "Who... are you? 
 You look like me... you sound like me... except your voice is a bit 
higher pitched..."

     "My name is Usagi," Usagi replied, "and I AM you... or you're me.
.. or something like that.  I never can really understand Plutos 
explinations about time."

     "Who?" Serena asked.

     "You haven't met her yet.  You'll know her as Susan."

     Serena stiffled a sob before replying, "No I won't.  I'm going 
to end all my pain right here and now."

     Usagi paled before saying, "Don't... please.  This wold needs 
you!"

     "But Darien doesn't love me any more... and he never will again.
"

     "Darien?" Usagi thought for a second before she remembered, "Oh 
right, Mamo-chan."

     Aloud, she said, "That's not true.  I know.  He will love you 
again."

     Serena, without any warning, suddenly stormed over the railing 
and grabbed Usagi by the shoulders and shook her roughly as she 
yelled, "You mean you get YOUR man back!  Do you know how hard it is 
for me?!!  Every time I think I'm finally going to get back together 
with him, the whole thing just starts all over again!!!"

     Serena, the tears now flowing freely, yelled to the night sky as 
she pushed Usagi to the ground, "DAMN YOU TO HELL DIC!!!"

     Usagi pulled herself up to her knees and rubbed her backside 
slightly as she said, "Don't take it so hard.  Everything will turn 
out all right in the end."

     "HOW?!"

     "Well... I hear they're going to do the final episodes of R and 
they'll be out soon..."

     "An out and out lie.  FIRST they put that "Wacky World Of Tex 
Avery" garbage on my WB spot and now they've complety eliminated the 
hour I'm on the USA Networks kids program and replaced it with 
WEBSTER RERUNS!!!  Why do I have to suffer while YOU get a happy 
ending?!!"

     Serena completly broke down at this point, fell to her knees and 
cried.  Usagi knee walked over to her and held her in a hug as she 
whispered, "Don't be sad.  I owe you a lot.  It's thanks to you that 
thousands of people, who wouldn't have known about me otherwise, 
learned about me and wanted to know more.  I'm greatful for that."

     Serena scowled and replied inbetween sobs, "Is that supposed to 
make me feel better?"

     "No," Usagi said, "but you can't give up hope.  Besides, what 
about that group on the Internet that's going to dub those episodes.  
As long as they, and fan fic writters whos only experience is with 
your world, exist there's still hope."

     "Those dubbers are going so SLOW... and those fan fic writters 
HATE me.  I don't think I have the strength to go on."

     Usagi found her own eyes misting up with tears as she said, "You 
do."

     "How would you know?"

     The two girls blue eyes met and Usagi replied, "Simple.  I'm 
just like you."

Okay, I admit.  This was more of a test to see if my hand is in top 
shape again (and it is) plus, for those of you who don't like 
Usagi/Serena...

TOUGH!!!  I do, I'm a member of The Church Of Tsukino Usagi and I

Seriously though, after hearing the idea of the two continuities 
meeting, this story just leaped to the fore front and WOULDN'T GO 
AWAY!!!
