But why write a Lodoss fanfic?

Stick to Ranma fanfics, Hunter Kid.  You'll notice that you got not
C&C (or very little, if you got some privately) for this fic.  You
know why?  Because it was Lodoss, a little-known series.

*sigh* Stuff like this just pisses me off. No offense to you, Tarot, but
telling a person to stick with one thing just because of limited
popularity..... *shakes head* So not many people have seen Lodoss (like
me...); so what? You can't limit yourself to a series just because it's
popular; that, IMHO, would be just downright *boring*. I've found in
talking with published authors, fic writers, etc. that the best reasons to
write a fic is that a) you like the series and b) you have something you
want to say and/or express.Hunter, write what you want, not what is
popular with other people. If you can't bring yourself satisfaction
through your own writing, how can you expect to please others? I write
fics that get limited C&C just because it's in a series that's
little-known; yet I still write BlueSeed fanfiction because it expresses
something inside me. If it feels right, do it. (Except drugs, of course
=^_~= )
Hunter, keep expanding your horizons. Write more lodoss fanfiction or fics
on any other series you want. if you like, I'll try to preread for you.
Just don't limit yourself to Ranma because it's popular.
