Ack, I never even thought about that... ummmm, Read Suic... nope, won't work
this time... sigh.
I think something Barry has to look at is what KIND of creature Ifurita is.
>From Skuld's reaction, I'm assuming he's putting her somewhere along the
lines of say Data from ST:TNG after he had the emotion chip put in.
Somewhat more (and less) than human. More in that like the androids of
ST:TNG, she's stronger, faster, smarter, etc...than a normal human being.
Less in that once you get under her skin, she's still synthetic components.
Now, this could lead to some interesting stuff later (take note Barry)
particularly if she desires to become fully human for Makoto.
Everybody clap for Ifurita! There's a thought, Key and Ifurita, there's a
lemon in there...
As for Urd...well, I don't think she could really "reprogram" Ifurita that
way. Yes, she is experienced in dealing with an incredibly powerful and
complex computer system. It's also a computer system with a User Interface
that turns System Bugs into LIVING CREATURES! In other words, we're talking
an EXTREMELY high-level UI. That leaves me to believe that Urd the
code-jockey might not be as probable as you think.
Well this is based on a bit of the manga where she virtually crushes an
electronic puzzle game in nano-seconds. Based on that issue, I don't see
Ifurita's programming being above her, in fact, it's resemblence to life would
make it even easier. The REAL problem comes in the manner of interface... no
matter the hacker skills, without the right tools, some things are just beyond
them. Of course, her getting those tools, could be interesting in and of
itself.
And of COURSE Skuld would be the better intruder... maybe a team up. Skuld
in it for the chance to play with one of the most advanced mecha she has come
across... manmade at least... and Urd in it for the meddlesome nature. Just the
team up alone screams fic ^_-
