I always felt that the powers of the goddesses came from a local 'patch'
of the worldtree's computer code. 'i.e.' a lightning spell is a macro to
have ?yigdrilsil? concentrate electrons at the foint of focus and then
relese them. Teleportation then becomes easy... replace objects location
with new coordenates.

I think that's as good an analogy for magic as any.. in this case the
spells are basically a way of accessing a macro..
