Actually, Peorth being the Goddess of Forever happens to be a fan idea. 
I've never seen it in the manga. What I have heard is that the word

Peorth 

means secret or mystery in another language. Can't remember which.

I had thought Peorth was in a different goddess agency.  Wouldn't that
place her in a different pantheon, where the rules as we know them wouldn't
apply?  I.e. she could be a competing "Goddess of the Present".
