Hi, all. I'm in need of some volunteers. As you know - if you've been
reading my fic - Zen is a major character, and Lara Bartram has accepted a
bit part. (By the way, Lara, thatnk you very much for having done so. It
greatly simplified things).

Well, I've reached a point in Mi Vida Loco where I need to name some of the
guests in the hotel my avatar is currently located in. What I'd like is for
anyone, especially any of my pre-readers or any of the lurkers on the list,
who'd like to have their names mentioned in the story to email me with
permission to do so, and a brief (50 words or less) physical description of
themselves.

So that there is NO confusion, volunteers _won't_ have any speaking parts
or serious scenes. They will simply be the literary version of those crowds
of extra's you always see in movies who just stand around and fill some
space when a crowd scene is called for in the script.

This does NOT preclude speaking roles.. only that volunteers won't be used
for them unless they specifically give me permission to use them for such.

Note.. all such responses should be send by _private e-mail_. Let's not
piss off Tybalt any more than we need to, eh? Both Tybalt and White Wolf
were kind enough to let my emergency message about my recent stroke to pass
by without getting upset with me for spamming. I'd like to think that it's
only meet and proper that I show an equal amount of courtesy in return for
theirs.

Next.. from the outpouring of recent letters, a significantly LARGE
portion of the list was rather worried about me when they heard about my
little cerebro-vascular accident. (Yes, that IS the official medical term.
I looked it up.) Well, I _am_ recovering, albeit slowly, and while there was
some permanant damage, a recent visit to the local specialist on the 19th
resulted in a diagnosis that whatever had caused the stroke, be it blood clot,
a rogue bit of cholesterol floating in the old bloodstream, or whatever, it
has vanished.

I'm recovering nicely, and I'm told that despite the loss of function,
I'll be able to relearn how to do everything. The brain, they tell me, has
plenty of extra capacity. yeah.. right. Dey don't know me vewy well, do dey?
8-)

They DO want me to go to a neurologist to map out the extent of the
permanant damage, though. <Sigh> I will NOT bite the nice doctor, I will NOT
bite the nice doctor, I will not...

That's about it for now. I'm still working on the MST'ing of Bert Van
Vliet's 'Bubblegum Zone 1' and will hopefully be able to release it soon.
The next chapter of 'Mi Vida Loco' will follow after it.

Y'all take care, hope to hear from you soon.

	Fortune bless you all..

	Ed Becerra
