A humor fic series

[As the lights go on, we see Rei in a highly decorated military uniform, 
stepping in front of a chorus line of at least seven other simlilarly 
dressed Rei clones. Asuka, dressed formally, pops in from the side and 
in front of the original Rei.]

Asuka: Good evening my friends. Tonight we are honored to have with us 
the United Ayanami Woman's Chorus. Lead by Brigadier General Rei 'Wonder 
Girl' Ayanami I. Tonight, they will be singing the United NERV Choral 
Hymn.

[Asuka leaves the sight and Rei gestures to the chorus.]

Rei: Ok, eyes front. {All the Reis turn to her.} � 3 � and �

Reis (Alto): ~ Here's to the guys and gals who like to fight. ~

Reis (Alto & Soprano): ~ fighting so slightly, with Prozac in our minds. 
~

Reis (All four sections): 
~ EVAs are in flight, sadistic delight, 
Misato for fan-service. ~

Rei I: {turns to the audience as the chorus hums the next several bars}
	~ Would you like to fly in my EVA made of Blue.
Take this two-pronged spear and learn to toss it to the moon.
Flying in a living trap
Going berserk will turn you to scrap. ~

Reis: ~ In a big city, Angels come to you, 
come along with me Shinji, 
in this demon made of me. 
We the kids are saving Earth.
All adults just have no worth.
Off we go to yonder blue, 
We really kill ourselves for you. ~

Rei: ~ Back to Tokyo-3 ~ {she holds that last note for a while as the 
Reis 'ahh' the last notes. When the song ends, the light dim on them and 
Asuka appears again, clapping her hands.}

Asuka: Ahh, such a beautiful song. What you heard was the United NERV 
Choral Hymn. {Rei I begins to smirk behind Asuka, turns to the choir and 
whispers something. Then the lights come back on and the choir begins to 
sing again only at a somewhat faster pace.}

Reis: ~ Fly me to the moon and let me play among the stars. ~

Asuka: Wha.. what? Wait a minute! What are you doing?!

Reis: ~ Let me see what life is like on Jupiter and Mars ~

Asuka: I thought I made it clear that you could not sing that insipid 
song here! I want you all out of my studio at once!

Reis: ~ In other words, hold my hand. In other words, darling kiss me. ~

Rei I: {Cackles sadistically} 

Asuka: Didn't you hear me, I want you all out of here at once! KAJI!! 
TOUJI!!

Reis: ~ Fill my heart with song and let me sing forever more, you are 
all I long for, all I worship and adore. ~

Asuka: I'm going you all five seconds to shut up and get out!

Rei I: {still cackles}

Reis: ~ In other words, please be true. ~

Asuka: THAT'S IT!!! {with that she runs off screen}

Reis: ~ In other words, I love� *CRASH* ~

{EVA- Unit 02's foot slams onto the ground. Scattering the Rei chorus 
and Rei I glares at Asuka.}

Rei I: Oh, you're no fun!

Asuka in 02: Look who's talking wonder girl!!
