You have an FTP site under your names. All you have to do is ftp
dynelex.com and enter your username and password. I hope this helps. ^_^

Well, to make this letter worth while, i'm going to include a brief letter
that you can pass on to the list, as I cannot seem to reach it. I'm
receiving mail, but nothing I send is getting there. <sigh>

Hitomi, my ID and password to dynalex.com isn't working. I can't seem to
log in. Might be me, might be the password. I can't tell. And too tired to
fight it.

Anyway.. as you might have seen from the message Sean passed on for me,
the spinal tap opened up a small hole in the membrane surrounding my spine.
Said hole didn't heal up properly, and was leaking spinal fluid as fast (if
not faster) than my body could rebuild it. Hence the incapacitating headaches.

This was dealt with this week by a proceedure called a blood patch. They
re-inserted a needle into the same area of my spine, and then withdrew
about 10 to 20 CC's of fresh blood from my arm, injecting it into my spine.

The idea behind this is that the blood would enter my spine, filling the
space in between the membrane, and form a clot, sealing the puncture until
it had time to heal naturally. (It apparently wasn't doing so fast enough
on it's own.)

So far, it seems to be working. The clot has formed, and is holding. I can
sit up and stay up long enough to eat, bathe, do minimum needed housework,
et cetera, without any blinding headaches. Can't do anything serious,
though, and operating a car is a strict no-no.

Haven't heard anything further on the tests the neurologist is performing
on the fluid he took, but he told me it could take as long as six weeks
maximum, and it's been less than two.

I'm not looking forward to the results, either way. The idea that I might
have either a viral brain infection or Multiple Sclerosis frightens me in a
way I never knew I could be.

I'm trying to write again, and the ideas _are_ coming, albeit slowly. Work
on Mi Vida Loco and New World Awakening progesses.

I can't seem to reach the list. I'm getting mail, but my mail TO the list
never seems to arrive. I'm trying to reach WhiteWolf, but my mail to him
isn't getting any response either.

Well, that's all for now. I"m tired, but I'll remain at kawaiiMUCK for a
while, hoping to see Nick there.

If any of you have anything new you've written, send it over. I can use
something to take my mind off of things as they are.

	Ed.
