My first Ranma fic is going to be a fusion. (Saves me the trouble of thinking
up a plot;) )

For those of you who don't know, Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
is a musical, dark, comedy and my favorite play. The fic will be writen so the
Ranma characters have evolved into the play's situation (20 or so years down
the road.)

I realize that Akane is the better choice for Mrs. Lovett but for plot
reason's I feel it's best that Akane marries Ranma, although I will listen to
any good arguements to switch Akane's and Ukyo's roles along with ideas of how
to indicate that Ranma married Ukyo without a huge flashback.

The hardest part of this fic is going to be switching the setting from early
twentieth century London to late twentieth century Japan. I'm going to need a
lot of help writing this because I know very little about Japanese culture. So
anyone who is familiar with Sweeny Todd, Ranma 1/2, and Japanese culture
please send me a note.
