I'm going to rant for a long time before coming to my actual request, so
please bear with me. I'm sorry if this reads like an essay at points. And if
anybody is offended by frank talk about taboo subjects, please leave now.

*ahem*

In between the eight gazillion other fanfics i'm currently in the middle of
writing, an idea forced it's way to the surface that I really like, and will
probably do as soon as I get the chance

Basically, it's a BGC romance/lemon story in which I pair up Sylia Stingray
and her brother, Mackie.

You heard me. YES, I am a pervert, and before anybody asks, I'm damn proud of
the fact. 

But I want this to be DIFFERENT from the other incestfics out there. Most of
the brother/sister pairings I've seen (I WON'T go into the parent/child thing,
a little bit TOO extreme for me thank you very much) don't go very well.
Either it's treated as a non-issue ("Bubblegum Pink" for example), making the
fic basically like any other lemon, or the fact that it's forbidden by several
different religions, the law, and society in general is used only peripherally
as an attention-getting device. Even the best ones I've ever read, "Black and
Blue" and "IMBS: The lemon" (both by the estimable Lara Bartram) don't focus
on the issue nearly enough.

I want this to be ANGSTY. I want Sylia and Mackie to agonize over the fact
that they're shagging each other. I want them together, true, but they should
have to walk through hell and back first.

And for that, I need factual information. If anybody out there has any data on
what can psychologically dispose someone towards incest (mental trauma,
upbringing, stuff like that), or anything at all about the "Sister Complex"
mentioned in BGC!, (even though I'm not sure if that's an actual mental
disorder) i'd like to see it, please. Any information on the Oedipal Complex
(It's precise definition, causes, effects, etc etc) would also be of great
use. And anything that you can think of that I haven't mentioned but you think
could help, that's cool too.
