El Hazard 1/2

El Hazard is the property of other people, not me. And so is Ranma 1/2.



 "Stupid tomboy," Ranma growled as he rubbed his tender cheek.

 " Shows you should never offend women," Mr. Fujisawa offered his usual
advice, taking a long swig from his bottle of sake. Mr. Fujisawa was a
new teacher but he had adapted pretty well to Furinkan high, taking the
wierdness that went on with it pretty well after the first few initial
shocks.

 Ranma muttered a few choice phrases under his breath, about 'kawaiikune
tomboys' and 'macho chicks'. "Well thanks for listening to me anyway, I
gotta be going," Ranma said, getting up from the floor.

 "Take care kid," Mr Fujisawa waved good-bye to him as he left.

 ****

 *How dare he make Akane cry!* Ryouga thought as he wandered the halls
of Furinkan High looking for Ranma and the exit. * I will make him pay
for that!*

 ****

 Shortly after Ranma had left, Akane dropped by asking Mr. Fujisawa if
he had seen Ranma.
She seemed rather concerned about how hard she had hit him.

 Mr.Fujisawa sighed, these kids here needed to have more social skills.
Taking it upon himself, he tried to patch up Akane's and Ranma's
relationship.

 And they started talking.

 ****

 "Ranma!"

 Ranma managed to dodge Ryouga's strike, launching himself to the side.
"Yo what now P-chan?"

 "Who's P-CHAN!" Ryouga screamed, jabbing at Ranma with his umbrella
that he carried almost everywhere.

 Ranma simply jumped out of the range of Ryouga's umbrella instead of
having to dodge the multiple strikes one by one. He noticed as Ryouga
seemed to freeze in mid air and never one to look a gift horse in the
mouth, he charged for the opening.

 "Kachuu Tenshin Amaguriken!" He yelled, launching hundreds of fists at
Ryouga. It took a second before he pulled his hands away and started
blowing on them.

 "Ouch! What are you made of?" He glared at Ryouga who remained
completely still. "Ryouga?" He waved his hand in front of Ryouga, trying
to elicit a response. "P-chan?" He said, preparing to duck as Ryouga
came back to life and punched him.

 He was about to try more when he felt something calling to him.
Following with curiousity, he followed the voice in his mind.

 ****

 *Wooh, the school basement. Never been here before," Ranma thought as
he walked down the stairs.

 "Hello? Anyone?" He said, his voice echoing off the walls. He stepped
onto the floor, walking curiously towards what seemed to be a canister
in the room. *Man this place looks like one of those ruins that the
teacher always talks about."

 Suddenly beams of light shot out from the floor, snaring him. "What!?"
Ranma exclaimed, struggling with his bonds, trying to break free. "Let
go!"

 Suddenly the canister began to spin, until finally it opened, revealing
a rather pale woman in it. The woman looked up, and spotting him, began
to walk rather unsteadily towards him. Her clothes seemed to have been
fine once but was nor faded and tattered with age.

 She fell into his arms, embracing him tightly while Ranma just stood
there gathering his wits. It was not everyday that you hear a voice call
to you, go to your school basement and discover there's a ruin there and
then get trapped by light and finally meet a woman who came out of a
canister and hugs you.

  I've waited so long for you.." said the woman,  "I've been patient
these last ten millennia, but this moment has finally arrived after ten
thousand years."

 "Wait? Ten thousand years?" Ranma said, trying to reason it out. At
first he suspected his pop had gotten him another fiancee, but ten
thousand years of waiting for him? "But I don't even know you."

 "You mean you have forgotten? Throughout the endless night I dreamt
only of you my dear Ranma..." the woman hugged Ranma tighter. "Time
grows short...my powers have grown weak with the passage of years..."

 Letting go of him, she said, "You must prepare to embark on your
journey to El Hazard. With my remaining strength I will send you to El
Hazard."She took a few steps back from Ranma, clasping her hands
together and begins to mumble something as a strange wind began to blow.

 "What's El Hazard?!" Ranma tried to ask her, but she wasn't answering
him, merely smiling at him.

 "I know I can relay upon you, Ranma, I will carry you within my heart
and thoughts until our paths cross again." The woman smiling at him
sadly was the last memory he had before blacking out as strange images
began swimming in his head as a strange light burst from the woman.

 The strange light burst out from the ruins, covering a large part of
the school, striking the still forms of Akane, Mr. Fujisawa and Ryouga.
