I think the story you're thinking of is not by OneShot, but rather

much appreciated, as this is one I would like to stick with (finally),
and I want to know if it's worth it. I think that Oneshot's idea of
Ranma falling for an ordinary girl was good, and while other fics have

Well, all I can say is that you have your work cut out for you. It's
going to be tough to convince us (well, me, anyway) that Ranma would be
satisfied choosing an ordinary, non-martial artist woman.

I found the intro scenes very amusing, BTW, especially the bit with the
insurance salesman. One punctuation note: Apostrophes are for
possessives. Don't write Tendo's unless you mean something that belongs
to the Tendos.
