Dokushinsha:
Hm, don't know about Pratchett; I've always admired Weis and
Hickman, and Robert Jordan. I also look up to Doenime/Loader,
Perry, Lawson, Gagne, Biles, RpM, and a host of other great
fanfic writers. Maybe it's just because they, unlike me, can
actually *finish* a story; I dunno. ;)
Wakatta, Hunter-san.
Yes, and um, wakatta right back at ya. ;) <wishes he wasn't Japanese
illiterate>
To tell you the truth, more often than not, I'll go
ahead and pick a completed series over one that's just beginning any day.
Me too. Especially since at least half the time (more or less depending on
the author...Benares's fics remain unfinished, while Lawson always finishes
his stuff), the fic won't get finished at all. :P
It's completely unfair, but logical. I mean, why go and start something
that has the chance of never being finished when you can read a series
>from start to finish? Not to single ANYONE out, but it's just annoying
to get caught up in a fic and realize the author hasn't written addition
parts to it in over half a year. That's one sure way of turning a
potential reader off of your work big time. Anyway, that's my rant for
the day. Ja.
That is annoying, and I hate it. Of course, I'm the biggest hypocrite in
the world for saying so, but... :P

He shook his head. No, natural disasters were all too destructive for
this vague feeling to represent.
An assassin!
Yes, that had to be it. What else would give a feeling like this? He
was about to get a knife in the back. It was so obvious it hurt. No,
wait, that wasn't what hurt. Someone was pinching his neck.
"Hey," he stated irritatedly, coming out of his daze and looking up.
"Oh...er, hiya, Ukyou-chan."
