Another common thing but less annoying is not word-wrapping
posts.

Less annoying?  Trust me, there is nothing *MORE* annoying than having to 
correct word-wrap on a post the size of Zen's "Bitter End"...

It's simple:  Save in ASCII!  Word processors are EVIL!  Everybody has one and 
they are all different.  If your word processor does not offer you the 
oportunity to save in plain ASCII, e-mail me about a nice text editor...
