Actually, out of curiosity, anybody know which came first, BGC or Iczer-3?
I believe that there were particle beam sats in the second episode of I-3,
though they weren't featured as promently as in BGC. I'm kind of curious
as to which series featured these weapons first...
Iczer-3 was from 1991. BGC began release in 1986, and was in
pre-production in the '84-85 timeframe. (Bladerunner, which the BGC
producers have publicly acknowledged the influence of, was in 1982)
