I'dd like appologise to every freaken writerfrom the "golden age" of
Science fiction for this one.
Strangely I got an idea for another twist.
the crunch Ryouga hears is Akane... or the Dojo... he has grown
monsterously huge a la Gulliver.

I believe the original story by was by Ray Bradbury. (Its been
awhile since I've read that particular story so I might be
mistaken.)
I believe it was also made into a segment on the New Twilight
Zone.
