I do think putting more Ranma'ers as streetfighters 
might not be all that good an idea. Sure, there's a 
good reason for Ranma to join the circuit, but the 
others? It could easily become a bit farfetched.

Actually, I have a more simplistic reason for not wanting the various
Nerima martial artists to join in.  Basically, there's too many fics out
there in which Ranma goes off on (or is about to go off on) a
journey/adventure, and everyone and their mother AND their uncle decide
to come along.  Please, consider allowing Ranma to develop alone, and if
you must, keep Akane with him.  Besides, it's more of a challenge that
way.  There won't be any easy outs when it comes an awkward situation
between Akane and Ranma (read a romantic one... aren't they always?); you
can't let Ryouga jump in to start fighting, have Shampoo or Ukyou try to
break them up, etc.  Plus, the gangs' antics get real old real fast.  And
if you absolutely must include the rest, keep them away from Ranma when
he's training.  Send Ranma and Akane off to fight somewhere else.  Be
creative, is what I'm saying.  The first chapter was good, so don't ruin
in (IMO) by adding in unnecessary complications.
