That defeats the entire purpose of the list.
It was a suggestion only. What _should_ we do? What should we do, considering
that the FANFIC volume itself may soon grow too large for anyone to handle coming
into their mailbox on a regular basis?
Well, why not have *two* FFML mailing lists? Divvy
up the messages: one ML solely for fanfics and one
for messages/C&C/MST/ideas/spamfics, or some other
way of separating the message types. For those who
only want to read fics, it would reduce the size
needed, plus reduce the weeding out of the stuff you
want from what you don't. (There are times when I'd
like to stop getting messages altogether, and just
get fanfics; I'm sure a few people would echo that
sentiment.) Anybody got a different/better way to
handle it?
