Sure, I remember Ranko's Life. However, in the case I was proposing, such
extreme measures would hardly be needed. After all, there's Nabiki available
and everything.
Really, Ranko's Life has an _entirely_ different dynamic than the story I was
talking about. I was thinking a story where not only are Ranma and Akane both
boys, but the both _act_ like boys. Force them to deal with each other from a
non-romantic angle.
