Okay, even if that isn't what you meant, this has actually been done, and
is probably lying around somewhere on the RAAC, though I forget the title.
Some guy was messing around with Ranma anime tapes, and something goes
wrong bringing Ranma and Akane to the Real World. Eventually, he remembers
a fanfiction draft, and uses it to send them back.  Not the best piece of
writing I'd ever seen, but not that bad either.

Note that the author assumed that Ranma & Akane were both fiction, and he
was real.  My take on this idea (if I ever get around to it) is based off
the extreme form of solipsism.  What if we were just manga/anime
characters, and the Anime characters were actually the authors who based
us off of their world to get a few cheap laughs?  They would be writing an
Self Insertion fic, which we would insist is a Revengefic, and use their
SI-powers, which we would insist the manga author created for them, etc. 

FFML 1/2, anyone?  Urusei FFML?  Since it crashes so much, The Dirty FFML?

If anyone knows of a funny way to do this, please do so, since everything
I write tends to drift towards metaphysics debates.

The sardines weren't worth the trouble.  A few more shots, then 
Ryoga-san would overheat and explode.  Ducking around a corner, 
I managed to lose him as I entered the ramshackle residence of 
my Anime supplier.

One look at his face and I knew that I was betrayed.  "Tell me."
I insisted.  He refused, so I slammed him against the wall.
"Last chance.  Where can Ranma-Ranma find good fanfics?"
"Try Jason Liao." he whispered, before he slumped to the floor.

window, one step ahead of Tendo Heavy Industries...
