Actually, if you read the end of MUOF OAV2, she doesn't.  Before they can
marry, Akane and Shampoo are cast back into their own universes, where
Ranma loved Akane, not Shampoo.

Actually, in the previews of episode 3, Shampoo complains that she doens't
get Ranma in the end after all.  However, I think that I read somewhere
that he planned a rewrite (but I'm not sure if that's true), so I hope
that Ranma and Shampoo do get together.

The sardines weren't worth the trouble.  A few more shots, then 
Ryoga-san would overheat and explode.  Ducking around a corner, 
I managed to lose him as I entered the ramshackle residence of 
my Anime supplier.

One look at his face and I knew that I was betrayed.  "Tell me."
I insisted.  He refused, so I slammed him against the wall.
