Again, posting ideas is fine, as long as they're ideas you've already
tried to write and failed, or at least as long as you don't try to
give an excuse. "No time" and "too lazy" are excuses. Be honest. Say
"I don't want to write."
The fic idea I posted - "What if Ukyou had been a boy?" - I'm not writing
for two reasons. One, no time. I'm serious. Look at my other post for
why. Second, and more importantly, perhaps, now that I think about it, is
this:
Two of my in-production fics, Mirror Images and Kiss of Steel, touch either
this exact topic (in MI's case), or cover similar ground - and because of
the characters, similar emotional turnouts - with a different series (KoS).
Writing an 'Ukyou is a boy' story would turn out, undoubtedly, at least
somewhat similar to both of these fics in more than one way, so for me to
write one would be...redundant. Repititious. Boring. Unneeded. You get
the picture. ^_^
So I'm putting the idea up for a new author. And since writing styles are
usually very different, and everyone has their own ideas for a fic, it
would hopefully not end up similar to anything I've ever written. :)
BTW, Lurker, would it be too much to ask you to post just how you intended
Faux Existance to turn out? I'm curious. ^_^

The slender girl, Ryako, only gave him a cute, yet somewhat wolfish,
grin. "Aw, you're no fun, Ryoga," she said, hitting him on the shoulder
playfully. "Here we are, so close, and you won't let me read what you're
writing?" She snuggled up against him, smirking to herself.
Ryoga apparently didn't notice that she was only kidding, because his
face glowed a bright red and he nervously inched away from her. "C-close?"
He stammered. "I...well...you see..."
