Actually, now that I think about it, Ranma in this story has been 
transported to his perfect dream world.  No curses, no fiancees he 
doesn't want, (or at least the ability to choose freely and without 
violence or heartbreak), no father to screw up his life, no mother with 
a katana.  The only thing that's missing is a Ryoga to attack him 
randomly.  Let's face it, he doesn't want to go back!
