Oh, that one.  Yeah.

For those of you who do want to know what happened, the following
summary of events will convey what I remember.


Zu Party III  (1000H 5 Jun 98 - 1800H 7 Jun 98)

The usual prerequisites were met:  Rain Man is in town, Yebah is
available.  Classes haven't started, but registration has, for some.

Attendance:  (26) Vector, Switch, Yebah, goo, Rain Man, Pervert, Hollie,
NomaD, Blitz, Gee, elf, Pinball (1), Radler, Mayhem, Chaos, Father, Attar, 
TimeRunner, Jin, Jiro Maeda (y'didn't tell me ya'r on d'list foo'!?!), 
a guy named Rommel :), Scriviner, and Some People We Dare Do Not Name...

Broken:  one round flourescent lamp, one 1 GB hard disk.  Both by Switch.
(Hey!  I had other reasons to look harried...)

Consumed:  approximately 40 - 60 L of Coke.  The black drink.  Lotsa food.

Equipment:  one (1) pseudo-wide screen TV, one (1) VHS player, two (2) PCs
Pentium-class, one (1) PC 80386-chip class, one (1) Sony Playstation.

Anime watched:  Maze Ep 1-2, Dragon Half Ep 1-2, Saber Marionette J Series,
Tenchi Universe Ep 20-26, Venus 5 Ep 1-2, Gunbuster Ep 1-6, Sailor Moon S 
(the episode with Sailor Pluto, methinks...), F-3 Pt 1, I Can Hear the Sea.
We were kinda hoping to watch Escaflowne, but SOMEONE I will not name did 
not bring them.  Nope, we're not placing blame... :P  (And, yes, I actually
was glad not to watch Death and Rebirth... at least, not while I'm still
six episodes from the series end...)  No minors were allowed to watch the 
ecchi stuff... at least, not while I was awake... :P

Not anime, not watched:  NBA finals Game 2.  Bulls beat Jazz by 5, 1-1.

NBA Trivia:  the only three teams whose names do not end with an "S" are the
Utah Jazz, the Orlando Magic and the Miami Heat.

Playstation Games played:  Tekken 3, Psychic Force, Gundam Battle Master 2, 
Ranma 1/2 Renaissance, a Macross game I couldn't recall, Angel Eyes, 
Alundra, some other games that don't come to mind now...

PC games played:  HAMSTER BATTLE!!!!  (oh, yeah, some Starcraft, and some
Battlemage, but none of it was networked, darnit.)

Other PC uses:  ACDC32 v 2.22b2.  You wouldn't believe where I got this set
of Nanami Jinnai pics... (No, we weren't connected to the 'Net at the time.)

Card games played:  Braingeyser (nope, not MTG), The Great D_______ (HAHAHA!
You all must sing a song from the Ranma Karuta album if you pass!).

Gameboards not used:  Scrabble De Luxe, English Pocket Monopoly (the one with
Fenchurch Railroad).


Overall, it was a pretty good party, eventhough I do have to replace a 1 GB
hard disk.  *sigh*  There go my plans of buying a Playstation...  I think it
went well enough, because people are already clamoring for another one.  :)
Don't worry, Florencio... we're trying to see how many can go next time...

Now if we could make sure there isn't any blackout on the next party also...
